I'm still a beginner myself, but for what its worth, I find the halfling puzzles to be hard. I still have not finished ring of death.

As long as we're talking about the challenge curve, it does ramp way up when you start trying the hard dungeons. The info in the annotated playthroughs thread told me all I needed to stomp all the normal dungeons and start unlocking things, which while a little grindy is great fun, but I can't imagine how a class like bloodmage is going to clear the shifting passages. We'll see how it goes. =)

The halfling puzzles had ME puzzled for quite a while. In the first and second one I kept forgetting that I have a Death Protection from being a fighter, and the Ring of Death... doesn't tell you that you only need to kill the Bloodmage.

I'm getting steadily more confused by this thread. :P

Ring of Death has no Bloodmage.

Hmmmm. Then that's the Taurog lvl3 puzzle, with the bloodmage problem.

However, the Halfling puzzles gave me a really hard time. And the OP too.

As long as we're talking about Puzzles, I agree that halfling and gnome are a bit too hard compared to Taurog.

Also, are we going to get basic puzzles for all of the races? You could make them unlock base items if you don't want to add more.

Humans: Badge of Courage or Fine Sword
Dwarves: Pendant of Health
Elves: Pendant of Mana
Orcs: Something new or the weapon that human doesn't give you
Goblins: Something new?

Last, they should make the god puzzles unlock the god for play. You prove your competence, so you don't screw yourself over when you use them, and you won't be able to get a ton of money off god puzzles. Also, for flavor, you could change your class to Pilgrim, identical to guard, it just makes more sense.
We made an expansion and it is awesome. Really, you should check it out, especially if you're looking for some extra challenge.
