The problem with using Rogue is that it would implicitly require the T2 building to be unlocked, whereas this beginner puzzle pack should probably be made available the moment you leave the tutorial zone. Similar results could still be obtained by giving a fighter a BYSSEPS glyph.

How would a Wizard vs Goo work exactly? Unless you give the wizard some sort of damage protection.
I almost got pwned by Shifty Brickwork!

There's already class intro puzzles that use the base four classes, so I feel that a new puzzle pack should focus on advanced tactics that work largely independently of your class.

Probably five puzzles as follows:

- regeneration top-off (something like what I suggested)
- full-fledged Regen-Fighting
- damage spiking
- experience catapults
- "final exam" that incorporates all of the above

In my original notes I was using a guard, but I needed one extra attack to make the puzzle work so I swapped him to a fighter. Anyways, aside from the guard the fighter is as close as we can get to a tabula rasa so I think he's the best choice for these kinds of puzzles.
