Still considering changing this back? After playing with the new Absolution for a while, I can say with confidence that it restricts GG to 1st level characters only (2nd level if they take an immediate Humility). I found GG at 4th (which used to be viable), realized that Absolution would strip me of ~30 experience, and said "No thanks."

It's too bad, because for about one week GG had just the right balance where you could use him at any level.

Please do; in his current state absolution is basically only usable by 1st level characters or maybe second level characters due to this issue. For everyone else the cost is outrageous and not worth giving up 3+ XP for a measly 4 HP.
