What's everyone playstyle for the Transmuter like? I've beaten... well, let's say Grimm Grotto with the guy, but it always seems like I had to take advantage of every single thing to survive. Probably wouldn't pick the guy to go into Slime Pits or a Vicious dungeon, but if someone beaten a Vicious with the guy, tell me how you did it.

Also, for the Earthmother challenges - I really hope you put in using entanglement to bypass MR.

While I'm not sure I *like* playing the transmuter yet, it's got a unique vibe, so I'd call that a win.

Has anyone noticed that Dwarven Gauntlets now have +2 hp per level up instead of just +2 hp... well, period?

Not sure if this turns them into an actual worthwhile prep though. It's probably too expensive to buy as an in-dungeon item (which makes the hp gain on level up a bit silly for that purpose)

Umm, trying to recall offhand. I think the +2 HP follows Troll Heart rules, not Pickup (though it may be worth revising that, too).

Yeah, believe it or not, the flat +2hp was a bug. Did we miss anyone reporting on this earlier? Because I went through a trial run one day and kinda had a "WTF" moment when I realised these buggers were working like that. They've been fixed for a few weeks, can't remember exactly when it was changed (maybe before our logs started getting a little more thorough)

I believe I had seen people mentioning how the flat +2 HP was too weak/trivial. I can't remember if there was ever a dev response, but the impression I get is that after it was brought up, everyone just sort of assumed it was working as intended.
