There's something weird about Blahblah's lifesteal. I think I've revealed him at maybe lvl 5 or 6 and he has 1540-ish(1554?) health.... If he did actually steal health from the player, how does that happen?

(Not that it isn't a job for Whupaz....)

I haven't actually tested it, but I think the lifestealers steal a percentage of your health and add a percentage of their health. So if you reveal something with "lifesteal 40%" and you're at max health, he'll drop you to 60% and boost his own to 140%. If you're at 90% health, he'll drop you to 60% and boost himself to 130%, etc.

I'm not positive on this one, and it's tricky to not give him anything, I think, because I think you heal before you lifesteals.

My solutions, as it were, are either a) try to reveal the smallest number of squares (ideally 1) + b) reveal him with as little of my own health as possible, or c) get to 65% magic resist with Binlor and stop caring.

Well I just did Naga City with

1) Elf Assassin (Pre-Nerf)
2) Human Transmuter
3) Human Crusader

Seeing as how I don't have a high impression of the Transmuter, I'm going to say this is probably the easiest Vicious dungeon (Dragon Isle is probably 2nd easiest with certain classes like Berserker)

I have to agree with you there. Lifesteal is an EXTREMELY boring mechanic to work around. How about a more interesting thing like making it work like the vamps lifesteal? They get X% of there damage back as life?
We made an expansion and it is awesome. Really, you should check it out, especially if you're looking for some extra challenge.

Yep. It would act like Damage Reduction (but of course weaker since the health only return after a hit). For higher level monsters/first strike monsters they should overheal as well.

This shouldn't affect %res much, unless the lifesteal is applied before/on top of their damage, which would be very very bad.
