The plant spawn thing - Did you have any burning on the Avatar? Could have resulted in a lucky spawn on the same point as burning popped off and damaged him when you murdered the plant.
Hmm. I understand the reasoning behind the Indomitable thing, it just doesn't seem right. Regardless of who swings first, a retaliation with the MS is a separate event from the attack itself. It's effect when the player strikes second should be
before the player's attack has even occurred.
Both events may occur with one button click (along with the 3rd event of the monster's attack) but are still two separate events. Why are a retaliation and an attack folded together and treated as one event ever? It seems to me they should be treated as two distinct separate events regardless of strike order. Mana shield retaliation and the attack itself should not merge into one simultaneous event just because the two events happen to occur back-to-back in that order (MS retaliation before attack).
With the plant spawn thing, the burning damage makes perfect sense to me now.
Best game ever, btw. And I'm kinda glad the monster class bug happened. It's forced me to try to beat the vicious dungeons this week and I've gone from one vicious victory to only one away from having all monster classes unlocked. Now I really can't wait for the update to use them.
