I've been getting some really nasty Cursed Oasis runs that I haven't been able to complete. So I used other classes to knock out some of the harder badges to reduce the chance of them appearing :)

Agreed. Cursed oasis is mean...

Throwing the dice...

Elf Priest Specialist (H) Halls of Steel

OK, so, I figure specialist is probably easiest enough with meleeing. Prepping only bear mace to chomp Indomitable protections then seeing how we roll.

Magnificent loadout. GG right next to the spawn for absolutions (a mini-healthmonster coming up), Bloody Sigil, which is now really good for high-health characters (at level 1 with GG it *halves* the number of tiles for a full heal... and it's good conversion fodder too)

And it gets better. Drac. EM. Blacksmith items subdungeon. Undead kennel (great for priests since you can make a non-undead boss undead). Endiswal. Pretty much a perfect god loadout, some more CP for glyph use (think I can hit 18 mana eventually for a 3 stoneskins/3 fireballs/level). And the Orb of Lusory, which is the dungeon's cheat sheet.

Aaannyway... Blovski knows a good thing when he sees it, I get 8 or so absolutions at level 1, hit Indomitable at level 6 or so (that's normalish). Got absolution not long after and used level-up piety and mana potion convertions to go into Drac. I had a total of 28 mana by the end, quite accidentally. Got a couple of levels of blood tithe and used the health from that to nail undead firstborn while fireballing the popcorn down. Net result: new class, unstoppable, parched, specialist.

OK, so, the plan to do a random thing and write it up here wasn't that interesting from a posting perspective but still, serendipitous run : ) and featured the new bloody sigil being useful.

----

Hahahah next one is Dwarf Paladin specialist in Cursed Oasis - I think the PQI is pandering to me : p

Orc Wizard Berserker camp warmonger
Prep - balanced dagger (since some of the enemies level up as you do)

Not really one of the harder of the hard dunegons, but a wizard warmonger isn't too friendly. This dungeons is fairly friendly to warmonger since 2 of the enemies specials is mana burn. Didn't find any good shops, gods or subdungeons until I got over the bridge, still had to pop a health potion about 2/3 through the map due to running out of space. The extra damage bonus from just converting glyphs as I came across them helped (I tried saving them for a god). Eventually found Taurag, but not before killing most things on the map. Found dwarven gaulents and fine sword. Finally found the sub dungeon at the end and with great luck it was the zombie treasure, and being almost level 8 it was a perfect time to do it. Catapulted the boss from 8-9 and used a health potion to survive berserk. Found the thief boss after pretty much every tile had been explored, but I managed to wack some low level enemies to get up to level 10. Converted all my mana pots to get another conversion And nailed him with my last health health potion and 1 unstoppable fury. In the end I still had 1 unstoppable fury I could have used along with buying a potion from the potion shop. All in all it was close though.

BTW, doesn't warmonger overlap with specialists in that you can't get warmonger without getting specialists too?

Warmonger forces specialist, but specialist does not force Warmonger. Like how a square is a rectangle, but a rectangle is not a square.

You guys' PQI runs seem so easy. Mine's been sitting at Purist Gnome Monk in Slime Pits for ages.

I just finished purist gnome berserker (also got miser and unstoppable as well), took 2 tries.

With all the spoons and wisp amulets around not having anything or being able to cast many spells compensates for it. Found GG early and used him for humility. Being able to kill higher level stuff (in particular the wizards and wraiths) helped get me levels. Once I hit 100 piety I switched to drac and grabed blood shield. After that I just had to search around for the other boss (seeing as I don't want to fight a weaking boss first). It was the snake, so I burned some piety on a health pot and catapuled up a level to kill it. After that I just worked on the boss at level 8 (he was blocking the lower level ones I needed to level). I had to burn another health pot and used 1 bloodsweel to finish him off. Didn't get many good glyphs, I did knock a few hp off of him with the knockback glyph though.

Next on the list dwarf paladin miser slime pits.

Still, with the spoons Ick is now EASIER than a Slime Pits Gnome Monk Purist. And you were a berserker, which helps.

Ok, got Dwarf paladin miser in slime pits done. Also got feeling parched, Cheeky, Specialists, Ding max and unstoppable.
Took in a dragon shield, strength potion, can of wupaz, translocation scroll. Simple stuff, leveled a bit, grabbed TT when I had enough gold to bribe him for Tiki's edge, later got it again, followed by dodging reflexes and poison. Found pack master, but didn't end up using him. Stole a tower shield. Found Slime early on and use the buff me glyph to waddle down his resistance. Subdungeon didn't help much as it was cursed plants with wisp amulets and I didn't have the inventory space for it.

Next is magma mines gorgon purists... not sure about being able to do that.

Question; does anyone know if the PQI can pick dungeons with all classes or badges completed?

I have neither on any dungeon, I was just wondering.
