Yeah, I tried a variation on that one, stopping at imp 3 or 4 depending on on how I ordered my attacks. If this is the intended solution and we need to follow some exact obscure order of operations to deal with the punishments just right, then the devs need to rework the puzzle.

Not a big fan of puzzle #1 to be honest; it really has very little to do with the god, uses arbitrary piety thresholds and then ignores the standard method of operation of his boons.

I didn't mean to imply you'd solved it, only if something along these lines is the intended solution then that's a problem.

4) kill second level 1 goblin
5) lemmisi and bysseps
6) convert all glyphs
7) touch altar
8) drink potion
9) kill boss

Um, does anyone actually find the Slayer Wand new penalty to be in any way a significant factor? I guess MAYBE there's bad luck where you just need that ONE XP to gain a level but still, it seems clunky to add more text for such a minor effect.

Well, you can't slayer wand a level 7 and then use a strength potion to kill a level 4, reaching level 3.
