I still flashbacks of that one update where ENDISWAL regens monsters...or was that just a nightmarish dream of mine?

That was actually transmuter only. It was one of the weirder transmuter tweaks...

The very first Mystera had this self-sustaining combo.

The original "mana" boon basically turned you into a spellcasting god. They eventually made it add magic resistance to all monsters, which left her ridiculous good for CYDSTEPP'ers and HALPMEH brawlers. So they swapped it over to giving monsters physical resist and she became a ridiculously good fireballer. So they made her give both resists to monsters and she sucked. That's the Mystera design that was around for many months and that most people remember, but it was not her first incarnation.

Yup; for every "impossible" challenge there was a "WTF" solution that one of us would pull out of our asses...

Of course, I still remember my first encounter with the 50 DP Indomitable...

Speaking of the Transmuter, remember the old wall to mana one? I could beat every dungeon except the swamps (Gaan Telet included) with that one without even trying. Fun times.

Oh, and how could I forget the original Avatar's Symbol... +100% attack bonus when below 25% health. It was to Warlords what Dragonshield was to Paladins.

To join the club of elderly people, I liked the vampire when he could get ridicolous DR.
Although that had no flavor, it was pretty awesome.
