You could go with a BYCEPS vampire. Once you ruin his resists you almost CAN'T lose.

Trick with Vampire would be reaching Horatio in the first place. If you have the platemail, then you only need 6 lifesteal to completely ignore his damage output. That's 600 CP plus a vampiric blade or 720 CP, which is totally reasonable.

Ah, Vampires aren't up on the Wiki so I have no idea on their current stats. Might be I should go unlock them if Platemail + Vamp Blade = win.

Cute. Trying to finish Dancing Blades to work on Vampire unlock, gotten Bleaty as my random boss 5 times in a row, how very fun. I swear it says "random" for the second boss. Halfling Priest, that's basically the only thing I can't kill and I'd still be able if I managed a piercing wand or Binlor. Bloody Hell.

Vampires convert 120 CP for +1 lifesteal, and start with 1 lifesteal as well as 10% sanguine. They're also mana burn and poison immune. However, they only regain 1 HP per explored tile regardless of their level (so a 10th level vampire basically doesn't heal at all), regain no mana from exploration when not at full health, and cannot worship deities.

I'd say I kind of preferred the Alpha vamps, but cast from HP was ridiculously broken. I'm guessing the no worship is to keep them from being broken beyond belief with Dracul/JJ/Pactmaker shenanigans?

Yeah, Stone Sigil is pretty awesome, especially with ones like Binlor and Tikki where piety can be annoying to garner. When I get a 7th locker slot, it's going to the Sigil, I think.

I haven't seen the philosopher's stone in forever. I think there might be a bug spawning it.
