The Official(?) Fan Art Thread

Postby Kuranes on Mon Sep 24, 2012 12:41 pm

Figured I'd start a thread for this since both me and the Avatar have begun drawing Desktop Dungeons related things.

Great work on the deities. Maybe I'll (finally) get around to uploading some of my fanart.

I'd love to see some more around here! And thanks by the way. I do however draw physically, and I still consider these two images below par (considering what I normally do, drawing stuff with mouse/touchpad always result in lower quality than the 100% accurate pencil). But I guess that is a part of almost any thing involving mastery; you can always find someone who is better. :)

Yeah. I'd put my pencil and paper art skills at mediocre. I'd put my pixel art skills at Kindergarten.

Then again, that was a quick 5 minute test sketch.

Yeah, my skills with the mouse aren't that great either, but I threw something together in paint on my lunch break:

The true meaning of adventuring: killing things and taking their stuff.

Ran out of time and couldn't color the floor in. If some of the colors are a bit off, let me know; I'm color blind and have difficulty with anything outside of greyscale.

The only coloring problem I can seem to find is the goos are normally blackish-yellow, not green.

They look green to me in-game. I have highly limited ability to tell the difference between dark yellow and green.

The funny thing about that is that in most games, slimes ARE green, so it kind of works anyways.

I'm working right now on a piece about that translocation scroll. It looks much better than my first sketch I assure you, because I want to take my time on extra this one.
