... That makes absolutely no sense. The code is still there on the page and nothing to do with it has changed. It's a pure JS/HTML thing and has nothing to do with the Unity file at all. What the crap?

Some browsers have an option where you can block all JavaScript alert/confirms from a site if you click the wrong button to close the popup.

Chrome is one of them, so that's the most likely explanation for what happened. I know it makes my life miserable as a web developer.

Hmm, I can't seem to exactly reproduce what I expected the behavior to be, but I still would recommend pursuing that line of research.

Or just ignoring it, since people with browsers are technically doing it to themselves :)

It was an issue that came up through a very strange HTML editing issue that messed up the source every so slightly after we tried an inactivity switch (which didn't work) earlier in the week. It should be back to normal now.
