... I used his Pacts. Not as often as I did consensus, but I really did.

Scholar's Pact - level-up catapults during the boss fight
Alchemist's Pact - if you're JUST shy of being able to level-up in the last moments of the game
Warrior's Pact - combo'ing with Dracul or the Rogue
Body Pact - resist-stacking fun
Spirit Pact - functionally useless (seriously, does ANYONE have a case where it's worthwhile?)
Consensus - a million and one applications

You might be ably to use Spirit pact for the vamp. If you don't want mana potions the pact makes them 20 CP a pop, and that's not bad.

Really? Hmm... Perhaps a Tinker, but that would be menial at best. I don't think there is any really good use for it.

Yeah, and I used Body Pact to prove that Paladins and Priests could beat (old) Naga City. For a while, I used it more than Consensus!

On your list, I mostly agree. Except I think that GG is a bit too high, since his limitations are quite obnoxious. He has similar space limitations to Taurog!

I also wasn't surprised to see Taurog at the bottom, but we've had that discussion in the past so I won't go into it again. I still prefer him to Binlor, Earthmother, and JJ. He's not so hot in most Vicious challenges, but he's one of the better PQI choices.

The only time I ever go above 15 beads (3 item slots) with GG is when I'm in the end-game using protection, which is usually a period when inventory slots are actually being cleared out as I convert stuff that has passed its useful life. In most runs, I don't use more than 2 item slots worth of beads for GG. Moreover, he's not dragging down my mana with each boon request.

I understand that this can very much be a measure of playstyle; it's fine if you like Taurog, I just don't. The most common occurrence where I use him is for warmonger runs and I rarely touch him otherwise.

I usually only end up with the Sword and one of the defense items from Taurog, so two slots. Then I use his abundance of piety to swap me to whoever else is useful.

And with GG I'll get humility for extra experience and two inventory slots (40 HP) before using his abundance of piety to purchase enlightenment for extra resists and mana and then using his vast abundance of piety to convert out... and possibly converting back in after potion use for some protection.
