It's crazy how simple and complex getting 10 badges at the same time is. All you can do is attack monsters, yet it requires the utmost strategy while doing so.
We made an expansion and it is awesome. Really, you should check it out, especially if you're looking for some extra challenge.

I think the monk approach is much better here... he can easily kill higher level monsters while exploring... maybe thats the way to go. In my Orc Monk approach I had just one lvl 9 goo thingy left that didnt want to die... with a little bit more luck that would have worked aswell. But I desperately needed the Orc Conversion, you get a ton of bonus damage if you convert all the potions you find :)

Or what about the rogue? He increases the boosters you find (the only ressource you got), maybe that makes him strong enough?^^

Yeah. The monk needs either conversion or items to work, neither of which is allowed. Still, it's probably as good of a shot as any fighter.

Couldn't the crusader also help due to 'momentum'. If one can manage the popcorn right, one could have a similar damage output like the rogue (or higher) with the double amount of health. One would lose the first strike ability, which is against the boss only one free hit.

The boss isn't your biggest worry; you need to be regularly earning bonus experience, and "one extra hit" against monsters several levels higher than yourself adds up. I don't think the Crusader has enough popcorn to make this work, especially without a base attack boost to complement his attack bonus boost.

As a primer, try hitting "Ding! Max" without using anything to grant you extra experience (no goblins, no XP boosting items, no XP-boosting gods, no XP-boosting glyphs). It's actually really tough and requires you to hammer out bonus experience like mad. Now imagine having to do that without deities, items, conversions, potions, or glyphs.

I like the idea of berserker. If you can leverage his magic res well enough, it has potential.

Hmmm... perhaps it would be interesting to have a point system based on badges?

Warmonger would be 6 points
Hoarder would be 5 points
Unstoppable, Faithless and Purist would be worth 4 points
Parched and Miser would be worth 3 points
Ding! Max worth 2 points
Specialist and Cheeky are worth 1 point each

We could select a dungeon every few days (maybe with a specific class or race) and people would submit their best scores based on the above criteria. Anyone up for it?

I think your list overvalues Warmonger, Unstoppable, and Faithless, while undervaluing Purist and Miser

I'd do:

Hoarder/Purist - 5
Warmonger/Miser - 4
Feeling Parched/Faithless - 3
Ding! Max/Unstoppable - 2
Specialist/Cheeky - 1

Hmm, while I can see where I'm coming from I'm inclined to disagree on most of those. I wouldn't put Warmonger below Hoarder, nor would I bring purist up to their level. I will agree that I've probably overvalued unstoppable; I had level 9 goo blobs and AA's on my mind when I was thinking about it, but in most dungeons those are the exceptions and not the norm.

As a middle-ground, I'd revise:

Warmonger and Hoarder would be 5 points
Purist would be worth 4 points
Faithless, Unstoppable, Parched and Miser would be worth 3 points
Ding! Max worth 2 points
Specialist and Cheeky are worth 1 point each
