Highest Number of Badges in one run

What is your highest number of badges in an (at least) normal dungeon? I start with 7 :) Can anyone raise that?

I've done 9 before and can hit 8 pretty reliably; everything except Warmonger in one run is completely doable. Generally speaking for a Den of Danger run, cheeky, purist, specialist, unstoppable, and parched are fairly straightforward. The problem is, I can't find a way to get more than four out of the remaining five: faithless, hoarder, miser, warmonger, and the problematic Ding! Max. You see, there isn't enough experience lying around to reach level 10 with without using goblin conversion, an XP-boosting item, an XP-boosting god, or an XP-boosting glyph, each of which preclude one of the other badges. Fighter might be possible, but a faithless/hoarder/miser/warmonger/purist/parched fighter is going to be very difficult to win with. I don't think anyone's ever managed that on a standard (that is, non-easy) dungeon.

My best is with the Assassin, getting everything but Warmonger. Just nothing but poison antics, and you can clear den of danger without breaking a sweat. You'll need to find WEYTWUT, WONAFYT, or IMAWAL to reach level 10, but otherwise swift hands makes unstoppable a piece of cake.

Yeah, I don't think 10 is possible. Actually, maybe with the fighter. Still, that'll be extremely difficult.

Keep in mind you don't just have to win, you have to win with enough resources to go for unstoppable while collecting enough bonus XP to ensure you reach level 10. We're definitely stretching the boundaries of plausibility with this one.

Anything is possible with a Rogue if you get enough dodges. ;) (Maybe someday someone will make a DD borg!)

Yeah, a lucky string with a Rogue can turn the impossible into a breeze. Unfortunately, in this case it verges onto impossibility. With no way to improve his HP he will automatically die to an attack from any appropriate enemy he should be fighting, and without glyphs he can't set up elaborate combos to avoid attacks and damage spike foes, and without items or conversions his damage won't be as high as a regular rogue expects. Because you'd need to earn large amounts of bonus experience to pull this off, the number of dodges required would be astronomical. I think you're better off scumming for the perfect run as a fighter.

Yeah. Otherwise you'd need like an 8 dodge string to kill the boss at level 5 or so.

Actually, that might work as a fighter. Kill the boss at level 7 starting at level 5 (or 6 starting at 4...) I guess it depends on the boss.

How much does Tomithy have? 238 or something?

Catapult from 6-9: 39+45+52+58=194

If you can survive two hits at level 9 (I don't know the numbers) that would work.

You'd either need to have every higher-level monster killed before you began the boss fight, or need one more catapult afterwards to remove the poison Tomithy will leave you with (still gotta go for unstoppable). So you're probably looking at either a 6->10 or 7->10 catapult... probably not feasible for this fighter to pull off.
