That took a lot of time and about 6000 gold. That shows the power of Namtar's Ward.

EDIT: You mentioned my time was fast. Funnily enough, I wasn't even trying to play fast. I think I just inherently do.
We made an expansion and it is awesome. Really, you should check it out, especially if you're looking for some extra challenge.

Parched (3)
Hoarder (4)
Miser (3)
Faithless (4)
Cheeky (1)
Specialist (1)
Ding! Max! (2)
Unstoppable (3)
= 21 points

That puts me in the lead for the non-Berserker division. Prepped the Martyr Wraps, transloc scroll, elite items (used transloc for elven boots), and extra mana boosters. Use poison/fireball to kill the physical resist boss and the firstborn, then HALPMEH/BYSSEPS for the magic-resist boss. Subdungeon was exploding sign, which was nice for the extra schadenfreude potion.

Interestingly enough, Avatar and I would tie under the scoring rules being used for round 4 (warmonger is worth 1 fewer point, wizard's handicap is a natural +5 score bonus, giving us both a score of 26. Avatar's time is faster, so he'd still be ahead of me, though). Seems about right.

Current standings are:

Berserker Division
Avatar - Human Berserker - 27 points
Darvin - Halfling Berserker - 24 points

Non-Berserker Division
Darvin - Goblin Wizard - 21 points
q3 - Elf Transmuter - 14 points
Dreamdancer - Orc Transmuter - 13 points
Lujo - Goblin Wizard - 10 points

Someone else want to make a run at the Berserker division? 3rd place is totally open for grabs.

I did try, but since I don't have RBS unlocked (or clue what triggers the unlock) it eneded miserably. Managed the witch quest though, so it was still good ^^

RBS is unlocked by blacksmith level 3. I don't think there's any barrier except cash.

In any event, my 24-point run was made without the RBS. I'd accidentally prepped the perseverance badge instead, but decided to play it through anyways. I smashed through the physical-resist boss the old-fashioned way; hitting it so hard that 25% damage was enough to pull it off. If you've got the Trisword, you should totally be able to pull it off with a Trilling Berserker.

Heck, if you're willing to give up faithless you could just use cleansing from GG for magic attacks. Easy solution, GG is impossible to piss off if you're going for warmonger and parched.

Wow.

I'll give it a shot.

And cash isn't the trigger for the blacksmith, but I'll be damned if I know what is. Unlocking a third tier class or all of them might be, though.

27 points (everything but purist), tying Avatar's score

5:23 time puts me in the lead over Avatar's 6:40

Namtar's Ward with transloc/elite item prep to get Yendor (used against the final boss). Potions prepped were fortitude, strength, WHUPAZ, quicksilver, and burn cure. Extra attack boosters and RBS were also used.

Little question: 'Feeling Parched' excludes ALL potions or only Health and Manapots? I always thought it would be all potions...

Best I could do without the Tri-Sword. In fact, I could've done better but absolved too many low level critters to get to lvl 10 post humility. Funny how cheeze can screw you over :D And the run before that I was doing even better with TT and the hack, killed the magic guy, killed the SMM, mouse-surge missclick - death. Hit lvl 10 easily, so I didn't even think I'd not be able to hit DING! Max.

Anyway, it's been fun participating, my score is quite beateble, hope someone gives it a shot :)
