Are their female guards? I restarted a couple of times and never saw one.

The tinker who is boss in EM puzzle 3 can turn up male or female, and if this follows your character's sex then there probbably are female guards except there are no graphics for them.

I say this is very fitting. I think a subconcious reason I was avoiding gnomes was because their portraits looked unapealing and samey. Well, they aren't samey anymore

EDIT: Allthough now that I've seen more gnome girls, they do have a certain thight lipped, determined badassery about them.
