gjaustin, what was your actual base damage (minus strength potion bonuses)? If all that's happening is the bonus wearing off after the initial attack, that might be the intended result since apparently strength potions are only supposed to work once. If it really is a bug then I'll reroll - or just default to Vampire, I guess. This week will be a good excuse to thoroughly test the monster classes for once. ;)

Cheeky's only one point, so I suppose we'll see if it actually makes much difference in rankings. Prepping a transmutation scroll, Binlor, or JJ should get you past any roadblocks, and purist runs are relatively easy to scum (especially when you only have to scout the first few passages to see if restarting is necessary). And Tinkers and Half-dragons shouldn't have too much trouble with it anyway.

He had 3 boosters, meaning he'd already explored a fair chunk of the dungeon. I suspect his strength potion was already long history by this point, but I could be wrong if he found other sources of attack bonus sufficiently early.

I'd love to give this a go, but haven't unlocked Namtar's Lair. I looked at the old "unlocking" thread and it is extremely outdated, referring to quests that don't exist, etc. Is there a newer version out there somewhere? I have what I thought were most dungeons unlocked, but I'm obviously wrong. I don't even have any of the monster classes unlocked yet.

Urk, did the sloppiest, rustiest Grimms run as a half-dragon

Warmonger (5)
Cheeky (1)
Specialist (1)
Unstoppable (3)
Ding Max (2)

15:14

soo... 16 I guess? was shooting for 22... not much of a winner.

Almost held out for faithless - made it to the boss fight and then took Dracul. Dropped Parched earlyish because I figured it was impractical for Faithless... Bought a potion to boost sword without realising it'd drop miser (facepalm)... really didn't have to... anyway, if I'd been a bit more decisive would've got a badge more, if I'd played better could've pushed it to seven easily... probably not eight because ultragoo is so high-damage, was a really nice monster/wall layout, plenty of bandits, admittedly Ultragoo and with fewer glyphs I hit 165% or so knockback.

Had the same str potion issue as gjaustin.

(obvs, depends dungeon and class but I think Unstoppable is probably less of a handicap than Miser...)

Blovski, by the rules you need to submit a screenshot of your score screen to be eligible. There are plenty of free services online you can use to upload images.

oops - have to admit, figured it wouldn't make the grade anyway  - lost the screenshot I took after being too lazy to upload at the time, I'll make another attempt sometime later...

C'mon guys, get some scores in. I low-balled this with one attempt:

That's 8 points; if this stands as the winning submission at the end of the week, that'll be sad.

Can't seem to get a non-thumbnaily one from the thing I used (click for full-size)... but did the Half-Dragon Grimm's again with a bit more of a plan... Taurog prepped, Trisword, Compress and non health/mana potions. Cowardly actually pretty useful for Half-Dragon... didn't think about XP much so dropped Ding Max... might have been able to get it with Pactmaker, second subdungeon, or if Dracul or TT had showed. Ah well.

Warmonger, Parched, Miser, Cheeky, Specialist, Unstoppable... Half-Dragon, so 15+4 = 19

I've updated the standings (such as they are). Darvin and Blovski are in the lead! They're also in last place.

Now that Darvin's thrown down the gauntlet, I'll have to put some effort into beating on Namtar. I think I can do a Purist Tinker win, I just need to figure out how to get past form #3...

(Also, I noticed that the rules I posted don't explicitly require screenshots, and neither does the main thread. Future hosts might want to make a note of that.)
