Thanks! I guess I'll stick with the audio then and I'll get Jay the next 2 by tommorow, so they should be up within the next 2 days.

lol.
Like I said in my last post I can't do this for every vid. It takes to much editing time.
Just pick one a week okay?
You can do text commentary on the others.

If you want to continue doing audio commentary on all of them that is fine, but I can't sync and upload all my videos twice. So people will have to just open up the original video mute it and then open up your commentary and listen while watching :)

Oh. My bad. I can just stick to text and then you can tell me which ones you want audio for (preferably especially tough, crazy, or hard runs).

well I prefer commentary on fail runs, so those are the ones I will put forward, but honestly I would prefer if the community here decided which ones.

If anyone sees an interesting run that you want Avatar audio tutorial on then message here and I will keep the vid :)

I'm not even sure how that triple post above happened. I didn't even know that was possible. Anyways, that's a good plan.

Thanks to you both for the video! Very well done! I think it might be an option just to upload a mp3 somewhere, so you don't have to get the audio and video together and upload it again. I enjoyed hearing both voices so I would know what the thought process was on Jays side. And there are some interesting conversations like:
Jay: Maybe I can kill this... Avatar(instantly): No.

I apologize for being unable to review any of the videos for the past week. My audio technology blew up on me and I spent far too much time trying to fix it. I'm just going back to text.

Part 34: Complicated tasks 3 is a big quest (despite being ridiculously easy), as it lets you get the incredibly great level 2 witch. The rogue is not a great pick because of the blob. You want to be a dwarf rogue. It is strictly better unless you are in vicious or have the other damage boosting race. Fireball is huge for rogues, and a great prep overall. The fortitude tonic was a poor choice, because poison is pretty meaningless to any rogue except a dwarf. Mana burn will prevent higher level kills (for which your general formula should be fireball-fireball-hit). Good job popcorn bowling. That is an easy level three kill! You can regen fight with your fireball glyph by prestacking 2 burning for the kill! That would be easy! The tower shield sucks for the rogue. His hp is so ridiculously low, and resistance goes best with hp. Good job seeing the level three kill after you got the pendant (which I would buy even though it was unnecessary for the kill). YES! Keep on popcorn bowling. You should popcorn bowl through level 4 AT LEAST! Remember to WONAFYT. STOP EXPLORING AND USE WONAFYT! Remember, if you are exploring with both of your stat bars full, there is a problem 90% of the time. You should ALWAYS check for what the boss is. You weren't expecting that mage, so no doubt the goo will be a nasty (and totally unnecessary) surprise. WHY WON'T YOU POPCORN BOWL?! There should never be level 1's blocking you after you explored 30 or so tiles WITH WONAFYT! Oh god no. NOT TAUROG! You forgot the goo, and this is going to hurt you later. At least you remembered to convert WONAFYT. JUST STACK BURNING! If a burn leaves you one or two damage short, RESTART AND BURN AGAIN! IT IS WORTH IT! Agh. You could also have just taken the shield and be able to get in a hit. YOU CAN BEAT THE WIZARD! The troll heart is a great buy for a rogue, and you bought A PENDANT OF MANA?! UNDER TAUROG?! You need BURNDAYRAZ. Oh, you did remember the goo. Good! You didn't need that second fireball. You are being far too single-minded. If you had paused to look you would have seen you could have just hit him. That level 6 warlock should be beatable. You have two fireballs. Why do you force yourself through unecessary hoops? You are playing a HUMAN rogue. You should be able to get 2 level higher kills with two fireballs and a first strike. That is a tough choice, but I think you were right to get rid of the sword. THE GLOWING GUARDIAN! YOU'RE SAVED! That will be incredibly strong against the goo. You don't need resistances for these bosses. You have no way to get them and a small amount is virtually meaningless for the rogue. Converting to GG and using absolution would be sooooo much better. NOOOOO! NEVER EVER EVER EVER CONVERT BURNDAYRAZ! You converted it for THE HELM?! NONONONONONONO! That was an incredibly poor choice. 15% magic res is almost meaningless and not worth sacrificing the best glyph in the game for. Especially because you are a rogue. That makes BURNDAYRAZ incredible. Hey, you noticed monster first strike! YOU'RE IMPROVING! You don't have the fireball. This is so karma. NEVER CONVERT FIREBALL. Actually, you can win rather easily. Aequitas can be beaten without anything at level 7 and converting to GG will make the goo rather a joke. It is not worth that death protection at all! If there is any chance to kill any boss at any level without any resources (except two full stat bars) WAIT FOR THAT OPPORTUNITY! Just keep leveling up and tackling alternative bosses (unless using a potion or two will let you tackle the boss at level 4-5). You are nowhere near being able to tackle that goo. CYDSTEPP is great for the rogue. Too bad you went taurog. If you just convert to GG you will be able to two shot the goo and win this feeling parched. Tada! You are forgetting that cleansing gives you MAGIC ATTACK for one strike which makes fighting the goo a joke. Schadenfreude would have been great if you had BURNDAYRAZ... You are being far too single minded again. You talk about being "full-on Taurog". The very fact that you are saying this exposes a flaw in your gameplay. You should never be so focused upon a diety as to not look at other options for conversion or desecration or just breaking the rules of your god. If only you REMEMBERED! With that magic attack you could DESTROY that goo. If GG is there you never have to worry about goo or wraith bosses EVER AGAIN! Remember that. If there is one thing you remember from this whole commentary, it should be that CLEANSING (and by extention GG) makes physical resistances bosses a joke. You can beat the boss. It will be close, but you can. Good choice, the tower shield is meaningless to your rogue. Always use your DPs when you are as close to death as possible (as not to waste excess hp). You should have recovered one tile instead of using a potion. That would have allowed you an extra strike, because then your next two potions (+1 tile) would count. Then again, buying the potion works too. BICEPS plus first strike would kill the boss and save the badge of honor. Never forget that first strike. Nice job. It was a bit messy (and far too single minded), but it was fine. The bloodmage gives you some of the best preps in the game. I'm talking good enough to compete with Magnet: Fireball. Both bloodmages and assassins are incredible (assassins are the better of the two in a vets hands). Swift hands is the single strongest ability in the game. It makes so much trivial. Everything left standing is popcorn once you are a high enough level, and it is incredibly vs annoying monsters like animated armors.

KEY POINTS: Be less single-minded. Seriously, it hurts you. Popcorn bowl up to much higher levels. GG trivializes any physical resistance boss. In fact, I recommend prepping him against dungeons where you know a physical resist boss will trouble you. NEVER CONVERT BURNDAYRAZ (at least 90% of the time).

Part 35: Little you know, but this is both a great and awful class for hexx ruins. Great once you know the secret. For assassins there are two strategies. The normal poison-regenfighting assassin (for which you should be human) or the super-ridiculous-spell-hurling-monster (for which I recommend elf, gnome or goblin). I would guess you will be a normal one. Dwarf assassin is a quite poor choice. The assassin is good at regen fighting, which couples with DAMAGE, not HEALTH. Smuggler's den is something I have very mixed feelings about. It is best saved for late game exploration, but then you are sacrificing 3 boosters. You started next to LEMISI! Lucky draw! If you use that 5 or so times it will reveal all glyph locations. NO! Use it 5 times to reveal all glyphs altars and maybe the boss before you convert it. Poison needs to be kept up. As strange as the wording and exploration is, all it is is that each point of poison counteracts 1 point of health regenerated. So 10 points go away per tile on a boss, while one point goes away per tile on a level 1. You should couple it with BURNDAYRAZ for optimal regen fighting. Ignore the revenants? We shall see :D Uh, you can't regen fight a poisonous monster. It poisons you. What are you thinking? Just BURNDAYRAZ twice and hit him! Stop being so single minded and THINK! Yep, those revenants will haunt you. Buying more health on a health character isn't very smart unless you are being a Healthmonsterâ„¢. You should focus on damage to complement your health. IMAWALing the revenants is a good idea if they are not to inopportunely placed. I don't thing EM is such a good idea for Hexx Ruins--the revenants clog enough as is. Actually, her entanglement couples incredibly well with swift hands. Uh, you are level two! PAY ATTENTION! Use swift hands on the revenants, and PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR LEVEL! They don't have first strike, and even if they did, YOU ARE AN ASSASSIN! NO! IMAWAL THE REVENANTS! As much as I rant, there is of course, so way for you to know. The badge is great, your damage is naturally weak, so you want it. Stheno is a serious pain. The green tile is an impassible terrain tile. It is usually water or some weird spiky stuff. Unless there is a stepping stone on it, you cannot cross it. You don't want to fight Stheno early, but how would you know. You can beat that goo, but it is an extremely painful and destructive waste of resources. You have a fortitude tonic, you can fight that naga, and you won't even need it. Always use entanglement before you convert out of EM. Seriously, YOU CAN IMAWAL THE REVENANTS! GG is suicidal for the assassin. He is about to flip out on you, and probably kill your run. Alternitively, you could attack Stheno and kill your run. You should keep your game volume on, so you know when you lose piety. Just remember, humility hurts APHEELSIK, your regen fighting, your swift hands, and your BURNDAYRAZ. All-round, it sucks for the assassin. You are seriously over exploring. Unless the poison dealt from APHEELSIK equals or exceeds 5 tiles of regeneration for the monster, you can't regen fight it with poison. You are leaving GETINDARE and aren't going to use it later. CONVERT IT! You are trying to make ridiculous kills because you have APHEELSIK. YOu need to get a feel for it. You should not be doing more than 3 leevel higher kills. You really should keep your volume on, so you know when you lose piety. WHY ARE YOU REGEN FIGHTING WITH FULL HEALTH? Ugh. No volume, so now GG is going to make you pay. You are being ridiculously single-minded. You explored half the map looking for a level 7. If there is a regen fightable target, and you are looking for a more realistic target, REGEN FIGHT WHILE YOU LOOK. Heck, it would have been smarter to clean up popcorn to level and just take that level 8. Seriously, the over-exploration here is incredibly painful. You need to do the god puzzle packs. It will teach you things like that. It's fine. Stheno was going to screw you anyways. Heck, it practically isn't worth commentating these last 5 minutes. You've lost, and I don't want to see this hopeless scrapping. I hope you at least attack Stheno and discover her nasty secret. At least you will unlock Tiki Tooki. WHAT?! YOU HAVE SWIFT HANDS! YOU CAN IGNORE EVERYTHING! I think the devs should make a swift hands prediction to make it more clear. You could have had Tiki Tooki. You aren't even using GETINDARE. Ugh. You didn't even learn Stheno's dark secret.

KEY POINTS: To regen fight with APHEELSIK, cast it to the full of your ability while saving at least 6 mana, hit the enemy, fireball the enemy, and proceed to regen fight. REMEMBER SWIFT HANDS, IT IS YOUR BEST ALLY! Beware Stheno. Use LEMISI to find glyphs and gods early. GG under an assassin is usually suicidal.

Priest Silver: I'd be shocked if this was a win. I'm not trying to be mean, but with your skill level (and indeed even at a higher skill level) you need witch level 3. It's unfortunate you chose priest. Go fighter, maybe thief, and wizard. Fighter is much easier. Recommended means it recommends you have that building at the max level. The balanced dagger is the best item you could get. Oh god. Priest is going to kill you. Halfling is the rigvht choice, but this is going to suck. You need preps of a caliber you can't unlock, and you can't even afford your worse ones. Oh dear. I can't wait until you see the boss. He has the second highest hp of any monster within the whole game (although this challenge is far easier than vicious). I hope this being so hard doesn't discourage you. Always use LEMISI a few times early to find all glyphs. Priest silver is ridiculously gridlocked. They should make ENDISWAL spawn closer, it is a huge help. This is a pretty normal start. Because they are always bad unless you are prepped out with a better witch or find ENDISWAL. You have a fortitude tonic, you can cure your poison. USE THE FORTITUDE TONIC. COME ON! You prepped the tonic, don't forget it! The magic res from the golem hurts your poison. You still don't have a chance. That map is naturally horrible. You need better preps. PISORF? That ought to at least make it possible to move around. LEMISI! Now you can find EVERYTHING and use PISORF to get there! You really need to start doing that LEMISI trick. APHEELSIK is mediocre for priests. You should be spiking undeads instead using the GETINDARE that is a guaranteed spawn found by LEMISI and reached with PISORF. The zombie would be doable. Extra health has vitrually no bearing for regen fighting, unless it enables you to do some "top-off exploration" to just reach the third strike. WHY WON'T YOU LOOK AT THE ZOMBIE?! It is an ideal target! YOU'RE A PRIEST! GEITINDARE TOO! This can barely get better. You are healing slowly. You are level 1. Seriously, why is your UNDEAD KILLING priest not targeting UNDEAD? GETINDARE! The magic glyph. That thing is so great. You can keep using APHEELSIK while you regen fight. As long as you can regen fight with APHEELSIK, your only limit is tiles. I can't wait to hear what you say when you reach the boss. Seirously, you picked the hardest challenge you have available. Bad luck. As soon as you have max mana, remember to APHEELSIK. YOU HAVE OPEN EXPLORATION! You appear to be rather blind today. Maybe your tired. First you missed an ideal target that was the very first monster you uncovered and then you missed totally open exploration. Oh good, you remembered your undead slaying abilities! SO KILL UNDEAD! Sorry, no poisoning dead people. If you had PISORFed and regened enough to top off your hp bar you could have won. That's a shame. Magic resistance removes X% of poison points incurred, where X is the targets magic res. Other than blindness and lack of knowledge (which you cannot be blamed for), this has gone pretty well. I hope you didn't convert LEMISI. You need it for the boss fight. Converting PISORF? A poor choice. Remember when I said you shouldn't use potions because there are times when you will need every last potion? THIS IS ONE OF THOSE TIMES. You can't beat that level 9 without BURNDAYRAZ and more mana. Where are those mana boosters? Ugh. More potions. This already doomed run just got more doomed. Trust me, you'll be a whole lot more concerned once you see the boss. Told you. You need witch 3. You cannot win. You lack the items to regen fight him, the potions to spike him, and witch 3. You are not adequately prepared. As I said, there are times when you will need every last potion? THIS IS ONE OF THOSE TIMES. You need to be at least level 8 to regen fight this guy. That means at least 2 mid fight level ups at least, which you don't have, the glorious witch 3 potion, which you lack, and tiles, which you don't have because you don't have LEMISI. Heck, if you had that aforementioned witch 3 potion, you would be 1 hit short, and you would have been able to win. You should have leveled up higher before ever attacking the boss. Well, you are simply not well equipped enough to win. Otherwise, that was pretty good.

KEY POINTS: For dungeons with lots of hidden space (like this, western dungeon, or namtar's lair for example), keep LEMISI. Target undead as a priest. Look before you do anything. You missed some obvious things.

Part 36: The sound is better and louder. Hoarder is the hardest badge in existence. That lucky berserker. You are set up to win. Is is not overconfident to say you should be winning. You are getting to the point in which you are good enough to win normal dungeons consistently with a class you are good with. Bandits may be curse bearers, but they are the weakest targets on the map (although a magic user will be weaker vs the barbarian). That pendant of health will allow you to kill that level 3 bandit. Kill the level 3. You can get rid of curse easily at low levels. It only hurts at higher levels once popcorn is running low. Curse bearers leave an extra level when you kill them. Picking up BURNDAYRAZ is probably smart. Wait, WONAFYT is a definite pickup and BURNDAYRAZ is not? That should be reversed. You do underuse WONAFYT and it is great, but BURNDAYRAZ is the best glyph in the game (about on par with GETINDARE), because it helps spiking, regen fighting, and is the only source of magic damage that is consistent through every game (and one of the only 3). The whittling would go much better with BURNDAYRAZ. Regen fighting may not be your favorite thing, but that is all the more reason to work on it. If you let any part of your skill set slouch because you don't enjoy it you will not have it for when you need it and will opt for something foolish instead. Taurog? LUCKY! That ought to make this easy. How smart of you. Never risk losing BURNDAYRAZ until you know you don't need it. This was a very good. Remember, for the purposes of regen fighting, always explore exactly enough tiles to score the final hit. If you over explore it may take an extra hit. The boss is not necessarily on the edge, just far from the stairs. It is almost always worth converting to drac for the boss. You should always be fighting or casting spells while you explore. You just blew a bunch of tiles totally uncessarily. How foolish, you forgot poison. You are being maiacle about finding the boss. You are setting your sights on the boss. It is wedged between the level 5 meat man and the level 7 bandit. You wasted all of your exploration because you are so ridiculously focused on finding the boss. You could have been level 8 with mid fight level up instead of level 7 and low on popcorn. If you are under a god that gives piety for killing guys, kill all undead popcorn pre-conversion, so you don't lose 5 piety from drac and actually gain piety instead. Convert or use a boon as soon as you hit 100 piety (and preferably before to avoid throwing away excess piety). You shouldn't have take a Taurog boon. It would have been smarter to take the armor. They all give you 5% bonus damage and the armor blocks more. As soon as sanguine give you enough to afford another blood tithe, get it. NICE JOB! You just scored two of the four hardest badges in 1 run!

KEY POINTS: If you are going to flip out and explore the whole map, at least popcorn bowl and level up while you're at it. That is all. Congratulations on a good run.

Part 37: I like this new recording software. It's better. Transmuter... Crusader... Tinker... Those are the three bonus classes. That's all I'll say. Monks must be human. As I've said before, PREP TAUROG! BURN SALVE?! Are you randomizing your witch preps? You are consistently picking the wrong one. Think about it. Why would your regen fighter need mana when HEALTH is more important. As great as taurog is and all that, he is pretty mediocre late game except with berserkers and monks. As a monk, always target physical damage guys. WOAH?! CONVERTING BURNDAYRAZ?! That is literally never worth it in the long run. You have serious issues with converting BURNDAYRAZ. It may make you feel great about getting some crazy kills early, but the amount of regen fighting power and damage way outclasses that. ANY potion gives 3 exp in exchange for 4 piety. Including salves, tonics, etc. You could be getting much better kills except that you are fighting a MAGIC monster. You don't have magic res, so magic monsters are much nastier. When destroying popcorn under Taurog, start with magic ones so you get more piety. Wow, this is hilarious. I keep starting to write corrections for the mistake I think you are about to make, but then you do the right thing. NICE! Remember to explore EXACTLY the necessary tiles for the last hit. Level 4 vs Boss? Good luck. Alternitively, you could kill that level 9 meat man. It is not efficient, but this is normal, so have fun! Eh, shame. You could have done it. Two level 8 bandits? Well, that's bad luck to counteract the good luck of that level 9 meat man. THE TOWER SHIELD! That is the best monk buy ever. I said that the tower shield is great for resist stackers. Guess what you are: A RESIST STACKER! That would allow you to reach 75% physical resistance and effectively become an unstoppable killing machine vs and physical non-curser. We're talking boss at level 4. That meat man is toast. You should have been fighting it as you explored. There was no reason not to--you had no targets and full hp. As long as you are looking for the boss, you might as well keep leveling. NO! NOT THAT LEVEL 8 BANDIT! At least you were smart enough to get rid of the curse stack in battle. If you hadn't seen that you would have been in serious trouble. You were close to killing the boss at level 4. I love how you are searching for the boss because you have killed everything else worth killing. Magic damage? That's a shame. You can still kill him right now rather easily. In the rare case that you have killed all higher level targets, remove all non-popcorn enemies until you are about to level, then take out that boss. There is the rare case where you have leveled up too high, so if you can't reach a mid-fight level up, you've leveled up too much. Seriously, just crush the boss already. My philosophy is to kill the boss as soon as possible. Then you can find everything quickly, because you don't have to worry about sloppy play. Seriously, you can absolutely destroy this boss with regen fighting. You could at level 6! Definitely convert from Taurog. You could be racking up sanguine right now. YOU'RE A MONK, JUST REGEN FIGHT THE WIMPY DRAGON! Seriously, you have always been ready to absolutely destroy this boss from the moment you uncover him. with feeling parched. You may overate regen fighting with APHEELSIK, but you are SERIOUSLY underrating your monks power. You should be using Drac. It is totally better. Just use Sanguine. It is worth at least 2 bloodswells and leaves you with enough piety to do those 2 bloodswells in addition to that. That was the single strangest monk boss fight I have ever seen. Seriously, the monk should be regen fighting the boss. You didn't use a single tile. You had enough resources to beat a dragon with 4 times the one you beats' hp. I am utterly serious. The crystal ball is an item in your guild. That is what happens when you beat a quest with an item. It will also be found in your shop pool.

KEY POINTS: You underestimate the monks power. His regen fighting power is unstoppable and should be applied to everything, including bosses.

I just remembered! I am going away for the next week without technology, so no more commentary until then.

In case you unlock witch 3, never directly state and do your best to hide what a certain can that she provides does. Just remember that.

Also, I recommend trying your luck at one of the easier silvers.
