Nice combo for rogues if you can get 15 MP or mystic balance: HALPMEH + CYDSTEPP

Well the payoff was always pretty brutal, but now that you have to juggle both health and mana it doesn't reduce advanced use to focus mana -> cake. I was secretly hoping something like this would happen, it was a good thing it was de-spotlighted for a long while and lots of fun stuff happened as the perception of the power curve peaks was adjusted and the meaning of the word optimal as well - but it's nice that cydstep it has "advanced shennanigans" again.

How worthwhile it is is not really relevant - someone will find a way to weaponize it soon enough :) But healing potions love is a nice thing :) Also gives naga cauldron a whole new meaning. Shame you have to scumm for it if you want to focus it.

@harfatum: Totally. This ought to be AWESOME!

@Darvin: The trouble there is getting enough mana to CYDSTEPP a bunch. Now converting from drac to EM...
We made an expansion and it is awesome. Really, you should check it out, especially if you're looking for some extra challenge.

Yep, early drac worship, vampires, bloodmages (big grin)... all sorts of fun stuff!

Added bonus is that so much of the stuff that sinergizes was underused ^^

Really curious to how this pans out, but it can't be bad.

Wow, this is perhaps my favorite update in the longest time, play-wise.
The new adventuring permits are beautifully done, they remind me a little bit of the menus of the newer Tales Of games, which is always a plus. Very elegant.
I don't see what brought the change to CYDSTEPP(did any players brought that up or something?), but it's a welcomed addition for when you are at 2 hp short of max. I can't wait to see how well it mixes with the monk, hell it may even make a Mystera Elf monk sort of fun.
Nice to see the changes to Doubledoom, which was something I found to be thematically misplaced.

BEAUTIFUL PERMIT!
