So... is Scholar's Pact still functioning for the Goatperson then? Could have sworn that wouldn't survive.

Good to see JJ being made tolerable for this guy.

As for Magma Mines / Specialist, I'm still holding out for them to get reverted back to resistances and specialist to go back to its original implementation.

JJ Chaos Avatar buffed — now provides poison and mana burn removal.

Love the brand new immortal line in the growing fund of DD specific humor. Also understand the joke :D Made me lol.

*puts on moba forum derphead trousers* You hear that Darvin - they buffed JJ! :D

Piety changes prevented by Indulgence no longer appear in the log.

Hmm, I'm both wondering about what exactly this one means and might have a controversial opinion on it. Who cares, but still...

Issues with Taurog equipment punishment should be fixed.

Ummm... What issues were those?

Fixed critical grammatical error with Azure Body description.

This changelog is a riveting read :D Maybe I'm misunderstanding stuff but it's hilarious at times.

Boons in the piety panel are now named.

This is very nice!

Enemies that gain pacifism during combat are now deselected.

Wow is there so much stuff I'm clueless about? Can't wait for another playthrough, as I can't think of what this reffers to.

And as for the goat:

The Goatperson’s item conversion threshold increases by 10 per bonus.
Initial food stock increased by 15.
Food conversion value lowered to 3, may now be converted by just using.
Petition is now a character effect and survives worship hopping.
JJ Chaos Avatar buffed — now provides poison and mana burn removal.

Well, I guess I'm glad he gets more ease/incentive to focus on the munchies and exploration and that the bonus isn't so bah-roo-ken anymore.

I also like the fact that food has use now - how about that subdungeon with a bunch of health food to allow anyone who finds it and pactmaker a hoooge CP windfall of Zombie Gold Exploration Scandal and El Potion Loco Potion Affair proportions.

And fixing JJ's interactions will sure make it easier to enjoy.

Nice update, looking forward to more! And the codex!

@Lujo: Piety changes that got cancelled by indulgences still appeared in the log. Someone reported that as a bug, so it's gone. I have no idea what the issues with Taurog's Equipment punishment were, but it probably just wasn't activating when you converted his stuff. The only enemy in the game that gains pacifism is the meat man on the first tutorial.

If this means the fact that you only get punished by 5% dmg increase - I thought that was a feature! Those things have good CP and I actually liked it!

Maybe it's something else, but if it's not - oh, well, I guess I'm not immune to "I thought that was a feature" syndrome

@Lujo: I didn't even realize there was a problem (I tend to avoid converting Taurog's stuff like the plague), but I guess so.

Since the taxidermist came up in this update, I thought I might raise a point. The economic meltdown isn't very evident. The biggest economic hit I got was beating Horratio. Seriously, I'm not even sure the prices change except when you keep getting more trophies, despite it saying there is a sudden drop in prices. If anyone is working on an unfinished profile (not all trophies collected), I'm curious to hear what they think about how evident the story/economic hit is.

The trophy reward reduction hit me very hard on my first profile.

I'm a grind happy gamer, so my impulse was to buy as much as I could before seriously approaching any newly unlocked dungeons. I also failed quite a few runs, and when you're doing that, preps can get expensive.

Profile #2, I wasn't short of money until I started trying to buy locker slots.

That makes sense. My understanding of it was the more dungeon runs you won the more the prices dropped. I suppose it really would screw a grind happy gamer, but anyone scared by the supposed economic meltdown wouldn't even notice it. Also, does the game ever say you are supposed to get all of the trophies? Watching Jay play through has made me think it really isn't clear that you are supposed to do that. Heck, the only reason I knew is that I read the devs post about it.

Shifting Passages is too hard with Goatperson.

I tried it several times, but he always starve to death.

How about enabling to change items, glyphs or golds to foods?

Yeah, the largest problem I find with him is his extreme propensity to STARVE. Seriously, it makes WONAFYT a miracle. Shifting passages just makes it worse. Ugh.
