DragonSoul & B2P

So, Dragonsoul is able to trigger on B2P, but absolutely nothing happens whenever it does so.

My question: Is this intended, and if yes, why?

It may be a minor detail, but its something that has been bugging me for quite a while - I understand that B2P works differently from other glyphs due to costing Health instead of Mana and therefore also has different interactions, but why does it trigger on something where it will do nothing?
Those 2 have no meaningful interaction together in any way; which strikes me as weird, because usually stuff happens if two things interact with each other. Sometimes good things happend, and sometimes bad, but not "nothing".

It also feels underwhelming - usually, DS is an awesome item that makes me feel good if it triggers, but if it does so on B2P, I just think "meh, what a waste" despite it being random in nature.

What are your opinions on this?

Pros:
B2P counts as a spell for most (all?) purposes, including things like Taurog piety, so having the DS recognize B2P as a spell is consistent and helps steer player expectations about B2P's other interactions.

Cons:
The DS sound gives the player the incorrect impression that something meaningful happened, and might confuse new players into thinking that the health cost of B2P is being prevented or mitigated in some way.

Side question: I have never actually tried to use B2P with a Berserker before. What happens? Does the Berserker's 2 mana tax still get levied?
