Very nice update! Really like the footsteps, the new animations for the glyphs and the score screen.
The slowed animation is very visible which is nice, but seems a little bit too fast. Are there any other animations planned? Because right now it is a little bit strange that it is the only one (and the piety sparkles).

Haven't noticed the change to the lost mana and health when being poisoned or mana burned, it works very well!

Hmm... I'm not too sure how I feel about this one. On the score screen, the gold section is GREAT, but the activity log being a big block is a bit hard to look at. Also, it might be nice to add a filter option to the activity log, incase you didn't want to see gods, items, monsters, etc.

On the animations, the new ENDISWAL one is great (it really gives you the image of the wall exploding), but the slowed one is a bit of a mixed blessing. When you are looking for popcorn it is VERY useful, but if you popcorn bowl a lot and then not touch it for the whole time it can be really distracting.

On the footsteps, they are great, except in one case: moving around quickly with the key board. The main reason is if you keyboard move, it creates one footstep for that tile, so if you key board quickly, it will be a lot of the same foot going in one direction, instead of alternating feet. It's kind of strange.
