Acidcaster + PISORF - even more fun - but strange dmg-calc.

So tired today the first time the acidcaster (i know I'm late). And it was awesome. Then I asked myself how PISORF interacts with corrosion, since with two adjacent monsters one would get at level1 far more damage then with the normal fireball.
So first the good news. If you knock a monster into another one with PISORF (would think normal knockback also works the same), both get also the corrosion damage :D

But the damage calculation is really strange:
Used a gnome wizard with a prepped spoon -> so base damage is at 6, 50% base damage from PISORF -> 3 physical PISORF/knockback damage for each monster. With WEYWUT to put two level3 goblin adjacent to each other.
First started with 2 layers of corrosion. And i did 4 damage (i think). So first thought, the corrosion damage gets also halved.
Then used 3 layers, and i would have assumed, that the damage will get rounded down. But i made 5 damage.
Now I'm at 4 layers -> 6 damage
5 layers -> 7 damage
7 layers -> 9 damage

Don't understand the math. It seems that the first layer of corrosion seems to be missing.
Will make a second run and report the damage for only one layer (for this run i started directly with two layers).

Still first run. Now Level2 + Fine Sword -> 15 base damage. 50% from PISORF = 7.5
Rounded down -> 7
+
7 layers of corrosion
=> Expected damge 14
This is also what i do now

Ok, the second run:
Same Setup as above (wizard with spoon -> 6 base damage):
1 layer -> 3 damage
2 layers -> 4 damage

buying Fine sword -> 10 base damage
2 layers -> 6 damage

-> Again at level1 one damage is missing all the time.

Level2: 15 base damge
2 layers -> 9 damage

Converting spoon -> 14 base damage
2 layers -> 8 damage

Seems more that something is with PISORF.
Wasn't there something that the damage is not truely 50%, but (50 - some tiny bit)% ?!? This would explain the behaviour.

Nevertheless: Awesome acidcaster also works with PISORF, so there are some new ways for some shengians :)

That's great! I think I'll do that tonight.

If you like Greenblood + knockback tricks, you should check out the Dragon Cannon strategy (just search for dragon cannon and you'll find it right away). It's the most extreme knockback strategy possible.

Yes, dragon canon ball is really awesome. Think it gave me the vicious token at Western Jungle, where one can abuse the strat the most :D
