No, Vampire is probably the easiest VGT run in the game. Vicious Steel is probably *the* hardest, actually. NC isn't that easy either, but I guess you handled it ok

Vampire hard counters VGT though. It's not necessarily trivial, since your shop items (platemail) glyphs (bysepps) and Patches rolls are very important, but if your vampire gets rolling with at least 1 or 2 good finds in the dungeon for you, Horatio can't even really touch you anymore. Towers 6-9 are the hardest part of the run, and even they can be pretty easy by giving you a bunch of meatmen or golems.

The only class I think has an easier time in VGT is Paladin, mostly because it's a more stable run (prep GG, stack resists, be immortal)

Uh... why were you playing with VT? I mean, Vampire is also one of the easiest VT VGT runs as well, but VT VGT is on a whole different level than plain VGT...
