What happens when you roll an orc rogue and get Draco's Heart, Troll Heart, and prep Dwarven Gauntlets?

HIlarity, that's what.

Not really anything to brag about, everyone knows how OP orc rogues are, but good god damn did that ever flatten the magma mines. Always hilarious watching a build come together like that.

Just mauled Vicious Steel with the Halfling Transmuter of JJ. One of my absolute favourite things on that dungeon. Fun seeing just how big that spike can get.

@Lujo, I'd say take a gnome, possibly prep whurgarbl for the extra GG piety, mass absolution and humility then get out of GG to reap the benefits of the potions and sanguine.

@Darvin:
Dear god... old Absolution sounded like a monster. Given that it is still easy with the new boon to reach large chunks of health at lvl 1, I imagine that the beasts fueled by the old one would have been unstoppable.

As a side note (more in line with the initial point of the thread):
One-upped my own victory in VHOS and finally managed to complete Dragon Isles (and get the Half-dragon), as well as plow through Naga City with a Binlor paladin and monk. Working on a final victory to get all of the monster classes, which I expect to be soon.

Finaly getting around to unlocking monster classes. It seems I am motivated by those silly quest flags and those were the only ones left (PQI having only Warmongers left for me it seems..). Went for Dragon Isles fist, having beaten it once in a previous profile. Knocked it out with realtive ease (3 sucsessive wins! Couldn't believe it!). Viscious Halls was next up. Again- 3 wins for 4 tries. Not too shabby. Messed around with vampire for a while. He is a badass with the right monster set! :twisted:

Naga City had been holding me off- 10 bosses?? I mean, how is that even doabe?! Did it!! :shock:
Elven Warlord of Mystera (borrowed from Jay's Let's Play) just managed to pull it off. I am still in shock from actully beating 10 bosses in there!
I have 2 more wins in there to get the Gorgon class, don't have a clue how I'm going to pull them off tho. I don't know where from there... I'll finally be able to get some rainbows now! :D
Oops, almost forgot Demonic Library & Namtars Lair. Those ones scare me too!

Ps. What is the Naga Cauldron good for?

@Raz
If you haven't tried it already, regenfight in NC. The replenishing blackspace between waves makes it easy to beat the bosses even without any consumables. However, instead of choosing an Orc Monk for the job, try the Orc Assasin.
Easy popcorn management to mix up styles when you need it, significantly higher damage to deal with Tomithy, and for me, more fun too.
Knockback is also great for that dungeon, it allows you to hurt 2 bosses at the same time - and deal damage to a foe without touching it directly. Prep Binlor and Bearmace because of this. Binlor also helps to piety farm above, build MR, and grant a whopping 80% damage bonus, super sweet for Orcs. If you worship him below too, you can strip resistances and free up further blackspace as well.
Btw Bearmace should be an autoprep in every dungeon where you want to melee blinking foes.

Obviously, you should keep Apheelsik for the entire game. Unless you're trying trickshots bring down Burndayraz and/or Pissorf too. If you see a good item in the shops buy it, but you could just as well spend all your gold for buying CP fodder. The more damage you have, the more efficient you become.

When to go down? I'd say at level 9-10 depending on how well you make bonus xp with higher level kills. 10 is preferred if you can set up a prestige-ding. Regenfigters always want to be highest level when dealing with bosses.

Regarding god play - mono Binlor is certainly doable, but well timed conversions help you save resources/build your character stronger.

So what to prep? Orc Assasin with Binlor, Bearmace, compression seal, extra attack boosters, for item I'd choose Dwarven Gauntlets. Extra gold and shop scroll let's you make more CP. For potions include the anti debuff ones, so you can fight Nagas freely and desecreate EM/beat Kinissch without worries. Others aren't important, playing parched is really easy with this setup.

Another fun build is Orc Crusader of once again Binlor. Guaranteed huge damage, and 2 topside gods to build your character. HAX! Abuse patches for extra stats, and with your wall-breaking tools not even teleportation can screw you.

For NL Orc Warlord of Mystera with BM and Soul Orb is straightforward. Get Mystic-balanced and keep increasing your mana and damage bonus. At higher levels you could spike Namtar without consumables :D
Don't forget to keep Burndayraz for the 3rd form. Or use your mana potions liberally to erode enough of his resistances to beat him in melee, to grab specialist. The rest is cakewalk.

The Cauldron increases your potion effectivity by 5% for each debuff. It's great on priests because it also allows you to overheal with health potions so you don't waste any of the 100% heals, also works nicely on potion races, but I can't find a strat where it's an optimal item in a non-exploity way of play. A potion keg is always better on dwarves/elves and boosting your stats work better on gnomes/halflings.
Unfortunately it doesn't boost both of the refills on thiefs.
It's only really good in case you expect to also find a potion keg with it, which can't be guaranteed outside of NC.
Somebody spilled raspberry juice all over the place!

The Cauldron's good for priests . It's alright with halfling/gnome transmuter builds. Lujo had a thing where you'd take a halfling, get a couple of debuffs, find cydstepp and then be able to act a bit like a warlord.
