I want to be clear on what this badge requires. Is the last boss always the one who creates the shining exit on victory?

I am stumped on why I didn't get specialist on my Naga City run. I did get the Warmonger badge which means I never cast a glyph. I beat 7 of the 9 initial bosses with only physical attacks. I beat the Tormented One with 2 Cleansing Strikes and 1 physical attack. I beat the Tower of Goo with 2 Cleansing Strikes. I finally beat the final Naga boss with all physical attacks. I dont understand why I didn't get the specialist badge. I included my score sheet screenshot.

I also didn't get specialist in Namtar's Lair. I got the Warmonger badge in here as well. I beat every form but the third form with physical strikes. I beat Namtar form 3 with 1 cleansing strike paired with a reflex potion. Screenshot is below.

Specialist requires you to kill the last boss with only 1 type of damage, magical or physical. I'm not sure about the Naga City run, but the Cleansings on Namtar would have invalidated Specialist for sure.

I had a Specialist PQI at Naga City that I lost after attacking the first boss with physical and magic. Same thing happened to me a while ago on Cursed Oasis.
