Downloadable version of Desktop Dungeons?

I brought the Special Edition of Desktop Dungeons a few days ago and then found out that there's no downloadable version of the game, instead it's in the browser. The problem is that my internet often randomly disconnects which means sometimes when i finish dungeons, i dont have a internet connection so it cant save my data. On the website it said nothing about the game being a browser game, the Alpha is downloadable so i thought the Beta would be to. So i was wondering if there is going to be a downloadable version that doesnt require a constant internet connection?

For the full version, yes.

For the beta, not until much later in development when we're nearly ready to go and need to test that level of functionality.

Testing in poor connectivity and making it handle that gracefully without losing progress is one of the major things we're trying to test.
