That's horrible. Sad way to lose.

Here's one of my similar screw up from last week:

Maybe the dungeon didn't want me to cheese.

So you know how a run can go along so smoothly that you start getting overconfident, thinking that overexploring two tiles isn't going to be a big deal?

That TT desecration was brave. I never try it on melee guys.

Talking about being overconfident, when I first played a purist Human Transmuter PQI on NL I was rolling so well I converted all my potions during the run and even my Burndayraz. I though that with my 200+ damage I'll be able to regenfight any form if needed.
Turned out the 3rd form had double regen and 75% phys resist :P

I needed to break *1* wall before I converted it. *1*.

:(

Ah well, second time round I converted Endiswal AGAIN but was a bit more sensible first. Got GG as my other good deity and had to protection spam off a Mystera desecration to finish it. Deeply satisfying.

I've just learned something new today, 60' into my DI VT run: Blood Swell will curse even a Crusader.

^Oh yeah, I used it once in CO to go back for the Dragon Soul when wanted to locker it.

Fail of the day: losing Hoarder in VGT twice in a row with auto converting something. Old habits die hard :P
It's funny it took me 3 subs to realize that too. 'Whait, what did I just do with the health potion under Dracul?'
Checks badge panel, facepalm.
To make matters worse, both time I had amazing item luck (like the debuff wards so I didn't need to transmute Patches).

I can't tell you how many times I've blown a PQI by making those kinds of mistakes. It's easy to get in a mindset where trashing glyphs for piety doesn't "really count," because you're not doing it for the conversion. I've also wrecked Miser runs by buying stuff from the store for conversion fodder. It feels like it's not really buying something, because you're not really interested in the item itself, and the wrong part of the brain gets triggered.
