Yes, petition is a must have. Not taking it soon almost made me fail in NC.
Even if you have the mana burn/poison immunity wards, health loss at 70ish health is annoying.

I think I will go this way:

Orc Transmuter with Mage Plate+Shield, prep TT and scum for JJ on the first floor of VGT. Join TT and get Dodge. Then piss him off, get weakened and use any punchbag (lvl 1 meatman for example) to get infinite TT piety, take what you want, convert to JJ, get another infinite piety to get to 100 HP + 25 Mana. Activate Spirit Sword, convert the mage plate and do a infinite combo like astral suggested to skyrocket your damage :D

Its not THAT scummy, you only need to find JJ on the first floor + a fire heart + BLUDTOPOWA + HALPME.

I will try this tonight :D

JJ gives piety sometimes when you discover new enemies.
If you use knockback to push the monsters back into the blackspace, you can discover the same monster multiple times and get more piety out of it.

I just took this and made it more efficient: I'm pushing 3 monsters back at a time, and when I take a step all 3 tiles will reveal a monster.

^ Oh that's a nice tactic, I'm kind of suprised I haven't ever tried something like that before. Anyways; Thanks!

That's hilarious, I didn't even think about such exploits, though Transmuters took my attention lately and I was thinking about health limits, something like Dwarf Paladin of JJ or EM, but it looks like doable solution to get ibfinite everything.
So why it's so quiet here? :) Something got patched? That Spirit Sword mana refill?
