This thread is so win. I love the Guardian kill, nicely done :)

Also, regular challenges would be nice, you say? Stay tuned...

Thanks :)
I haven't completed any of the triple quests yet. Or VGT :P

I tried the 1st triple quest as soon as I had 3000 gold for the building in a quite low unlock kingdom. I got all the way to the 3rd random curse of Mance which screwed me over. I had no experience in Vicious dungeons before, so encountering random non-described gimmicks was new to me. My unexpected defeat made me look for DD related forums to see how others reacted to Mance's tricks. And also led me to join this forum.

I tried VGT right after beating the regular one. Since I didn't know the exact rule for making the subdungeons appear I wasted all my popcorn and blackspace on the main floor. This caused me to lose around the 5th sub, but I didn't know what I did wrong so all I knew I was playing badly.

I haven't tried any of them since, cause I wanted to forget most of the info I've seen about them on the forums, so when I play them again my experience will be as pure as possible. Also I'd like to win by my own skills, not by others well tested strats. To be honest I'll be trying VGT soon, because I feel I'm ready now.

I did VGT as a crusader because these damn possion and manaburn res are to good. Ah good times :)

About the triple quest:
In the first only the last part is tricky.

In the second triple quest it is all about finding the trick, then it is easy

In the third triple quest are the last to parts just hard.

Good luck with VGT

Thanks Kami :)

The Avatar challenge is harder than it looks. I had characters like this:

and this:

But never managed to get to the stairs. The priest failed by not finding weytwut, the wizard by not getting a tile revealing glyph. If that wasn't enough the RNG taunted me by giving a piercing wand each time. But I had fun in both runs afterwards.

For example the wiz eventually had ~60 damage/2 MP pissorfs and over 200 melee damage with KB :D

Anyone got any further than me?

That Dungeon of the Day game was amazing. I wish I knew DD and this forum back then.

Seeded runs would be cool for challenges.
