The full screen problem

Postby FDru on Sat Aug 06, 2011 8:08 pm

In full screen mode the "clickable" area of everything is moved down 50%, so the top half of anything that can be clicked on either does nothing (in the case of menu buttons) or ends up causing you to click on something else (in the case of dungeon tiles).

Tested in Internet Explorer and Firefox 4. In the meantime I'm using CTRL+mousewheel to zoom in but full screen is definitely the preferable option.

Win XP Pro, SP3
GeForce 9400 GT

Hm... doesn't happen to me. Did you try updating your Unity web player too?

I assumed the game would tell me if the player was out of date, but apparently not... in any case, I updated to the latest version and the problem persists.

Accidental double post! Sorry! BUT: I found a way to solve it. I enlarged the site display (CTRL + in Firefox) two times, THEN toggled fullscreen and everything was perfect. Hope it works for other people having this problem, too.
Cheers!

EDIT: Damn it, turns out it was just coincidence. Did as said above and everything was fine the last time. Today it did not help at all!
This is so annoying! Aaargh!

That is a really weird bug...

Unity shouldn't be doing anything beyond unprojecting the mouse co-ordinates in fullscreen mode.

Was your browser running in slightly zoomed-out mode all the time?

Hello,
this is my first post, just wanted to report that I have this problem, too. I'm using the newest Unity plugin and Firefox 5.0.
