Well, this is exactly the thing - GG is still pretty good, just with the current way absolution + enlightenment work out and the current piety gain rates I can't see many scenarios where the absolution/enlightenment is the thing you really ought to go for.

Enlightenment's probably not that much stronger than Chaos Avatar but:

- Costs 20 more piety (and involves you wasting some piety if you want to time it perfectly)
- Hence takes 20 more piety afterwards to convert out
- Prevents you drinking potions afterwards in the super-late-game
- Requires a massive earlier piety investment to leverage
- Requires you to fill up a lot of your inventory
- Comes with less late-game piety generation and, if prepped, less piety generation in general

- all of the above don't apply to Paladins : )

There's a bit more to it, definitely, but I'm just finding Enlightenment a bit of a fool's gold thing on non-Paladins at the moment, much as GG is a perfectly good god otherwise. But then, that means that Enlightenment probably needs to work extra hard to justify not spending that piety on health, cleansings, protections and converting out.

"Thinker", just without the "ache".
