Well... This does remind me of one daily ages ago. It was also Half-Dragon in Labyrinth with Binlor in the preps. Preparing Binlor was definitely wrong choice then because then the second boss was in the corner with no way to do any knockback damage to it.

That said, I did prepare Binlor today and easily completed the daily.

Great, it looks like I lost my streak due to a disconnect again.
When I pressed "start" it could not connect to the server and disconnected, but on the scoreboard it shows I am playing, awesome :x

Same happened to me in May:

How is it even possible to get a 100+ streak? Buggy networking code and misclicks are bound to kill you eventually, don't need a goat.

This was a hard one! Gnome transmuter in Cursed Oasis.

I needed Jehora's Last Chance to give that dragon the final blow!

It's been a while since I've posted here. I'm not even sure how I won this one. I am absoluuuutely awful at goat runs. Patches did actually pay off when my first purchase was a viper ward. Surprisingly, I didn't actually get any JJ boons, possibly due to binlor constantly draining my piety. The knockback boon did end up helping me wreck Aquetas with plenty of resources left for the goo.

* Goatperson in the Northern Desert *

Relatively easy goat... monsters tried to hide a bit at the beginning, but Binlor lead me to his altar at the start. EM was prepped and so close to the start (I forgot to play the other day, so I had nothing really to lose... it could have gone bad, sure you can clear plants on other god's time, but you don't get the status clear for leveling either). PM was nearby too and found early... a great way to kick off Binlor, after which the two piety farmed for each other. The location of the secret subdungeon is also nearby in the middle... which is popcorn. So if you can manage food for that long, the food problems become moot. And at that point, goats aren't so hard with their crazy refills, combined with EM mana today as backup.

Yep, I just used yo-yo to conserve food at the beginning, and it was just fine. I did not even convert any glyphs. I did spend a few health potions mid-run cause I knew they would not help much in fighting the bosses, and the monsters were mostly hiding up top, and not so many in the bottom half, which I explored first. A pretty uneventful run.

I dunno what the default gods were, since I prepped EM just for safety (I hate Taurog, esp as the starting god).

Exactly, I take no chances :) It could be a better god, or a worse god.

I was not going for top XP or top piety or whatever, just for the most comfortable win. Got feeling parched in the end, nice margin of safety.

Binlor gives you good hp refills, while MA gives good mana refills (2 extra glyphs from Binlor!), it is a very balanced combo. The other gods could have been TT + Taurog (happened before in a DERP). With MA + Binlor I can be sure I can deal with any boss.

I could have stayed in Binlor for the last boss, but I switched to MA so that I could kill him with magic only (I hate misclicks).

Thinking about it more. The bosses that are easy if you go with MA and refreshment : Aequitas, Bleaty, Medusa, Tomithy, Tormented One, Gobb, Goo, Jormungandr.

Hard for MA: Iron Man, SMM, Frank (would prefer Dracul).

Somewhat balanced: Firstborn.

Firstborn/Iron Man can be dealt with via Binlor, but Frank/SMM can get a bit annoying without Dracul.

Default gods were Binlor, Jehora and Pactmaker.

At lvl1 i took the PM Consensus (50 piety) and Scolar's pact, wich gave me a health refill + overheal on level up.
At lvl2 i used the remaining piety for JJ's boost health and boost mana. There was not much opportunity to farm piety, but since i knew what god was coming at what level, i could time it so that i had 20 piety whenever i leveled from Binlor to JJ. Binlor takes 10 piety for levelling, pactmaker takes 10 for an overheal. That allowed me to use a levelup-catapult to slay higher level monsters.
Aequitas was very easy with such a levelup (from 6 to 7) then Goo was not much trouble either because i had not converted anything yet.

All in all, a very easy goat-run with many resources left.

Yes, the bosses that are easy are easier... Binlor and two random gods should be able to come up with something for them, Rex would be the bigger concern. The three bosses I'm most concerned about as a Half-Dragon are the ones that MA has more trouble with, and I'd rather take the extra chance on rolling a better god. Firstborn is less of an issue when you take Binlor... you just push even more to open the maze up.

And Taurog is an okay starting god for a goat... you just need to be careful until you kill something or sack a glyph (so just focus on doing that first and forget about magic... put a post-it note over your mana bar to remind you if needed). Taurog tends to go bad because of the player's mistake, and not by luck of the draw like some other gods (TT/MA/Dracul and getting blocked in, JJ in a bad mood, Binlor with resistance preps and no way to get 10 piety).
