Not sure - it does stack up with stuff to get you an easier enlightment or anything else that's quite expensive, and past a certain point you'd be converting it anyway. Now that it's affordable, people will be picking it up for the effect, no reason to also hand out CP for it. It's a fine effect when it's on something you can snap up, people will probably buy it often.
