Fewer Glyphs goes very well with Binlor, I find.

I've been toying around with Taurog (my least played Rat deity) and I tried a WarmongeRat run with him, partially based on some recent discussion in this thread. Den was flaming so I took it:

Obviously, Taurog or no Taurog, a non-Warmonger / non-Miser run would've been much easier. Still, I wanted to see if the concept is viable at all, and at least on easy difficulty it is. The DR (and resist) takes away some of the exploration requirement, and also helps strike bigger monsters. After a point popcorn was munchable without impunity. DPs are awesome to poke a boss (I had SMM so it wasn't needed, but I can imagine things would've been different under Bleaty or Aequitas). Knockback essentially doubles damage. Seems like a solid enough build, need to take it to town on some more challenging maps.

I've beaten some of the radial non-easy dungeons with Taurog rats (I think I was rolling purist rather than prepped/planned). I think it can work though it obviously doesn't scale brilliantly on hard dungeons.

The rat has shown me how easy Vicious Steel really can be. Not just for the rat-- using the corrosion knockback with any character trivializes BlahBlah. Platemail/Taurog's Shield + Bear Mace + Martyr Wraps + Whupaz can get BlahBlah down to ~200 hp, before the Indomitable dies. Doing it without Whupaz still gets him below 50%. That's enough so any character could easily fireball him down the rest of the way.

What isn't? That Pissorf spam destroys Vicious Steel?

Or that 5 dr + knockback means you can do a lot of damage to Blah Blah without taking damage from the Indomitable once you take some DP's off the Indomitable?
I almost got pwned by Shifty Brickwork!

Well, there's already some stuff on the AA page, but I guess it's not very much explained that some boss strats are included on the base monster pages...
