No complains, I love these dungeons, probary one of my favorites, along with havendale bridge, and Berzerker camp.
Anyways, regardless I would love some advice namatar's lair, in general. (I've beaten it a couple of times with pissorf spam)
And for demonic libary, some advice on beating it with monk, crusader, berzeker, rat monarch and getting the warmonger & vicious token.

My biggest problem so far has been to level up, I rarely get past level 5 without uncovering most of the map, or using all my popcorn
Anyways I will try to run around a bit with the crusader and rat monarch in the library tomorrow. (by tomorrow, i mean today, it's 00:26 for me, when I'm posting this) this was probary not neccsesary to inform you about, but I did it anyways, idunno why. You are welcome?

Namtar's Lair has that killer 150% multiplier AND a lot of walls, limiting the available blackspace. I think Balanced Dagger is a pretty good prep there--at least it was at +3, and it's probably still ok at +2. If you happen to find WONAFYT, it's smooth sailing. One trick in NL is to not explore walls until you have to; the rooms are rectangular so you should often be able to explore for loot/monsters and save the walls for regen when everything else is gone.

DL takes practice, but once you get used to the tricks, I think it's the most manageable of the Vicious dungeons. The key is that you get a ton of resources--125 gold and a bunch of XP from the bosses--so you can blow almost everything fighting the minibosses. You should be able to buy everything in the shops, or close to it. The bosses hit moderately, but have low HP. Knowing how to use knockback and burning to knock off DPs cheaply is key both for the bosses and the Doom Armors, which are maybe the tamest monsters in this otherwise hostile monster mix. As for Avatar, he hits like a kitten and regen fighting will take you quite a ways; often you can also get a cheap ding off of the monsters he summons. If you have any DPs, reflex potions, etc. save them for after he berserks. BYCEPPS, the Martyr Wraps, or some other way of crushing his resists is helpful but not necessary at all.

The minibosses here always spawn in the same location, and it can be helpful to remember where they do. I usually start fighting them from 6->7, kill the first, heal up, kill a few more monsters, 7->8 as I kill the next.

I haven't unlocked the Balanced dagger on my current playthrough yet, guess I've gotta focus on that. I just really dislike theif silver :I

Rather proud of this, took me a couple of times, once I finaly got a utility glyph it made is much easier.


Edit : incase anyone is intrested in my progress on the demonic libary (I haven't started to namatar's yet, tho i did beat it once with orc wizard, for the ward)
I have beaten it with, Fighter, Warlord, Transmuter, Theif, Rouge, Assassin, Half-Dragon, Monk, Paladin, Tinker, Gorgon, Wizard, Sorcerer, Bloodmage, Chemist, Goatperson. I have the badges, Cheeky, DING max!, Feeling Parched, Purist, Specialist, Unstoppable.
I'm not entirely sure what to pick for warmonger, I'm thinking orc monk might be the best option for it.

Okay, so I'm reviving this thread again, because I really don't know how to do demonic libary warmonger. I've been trying with half-dragon of bilnor, as the knockback and physical + magical damage should make it easier. But I still have problem with resources. Any suggestions for preps or anything speccific I should search for (and reset if not found)?
