Indulgence protecting you from pactmaker

So, I don't know if this is intended or not, but since since pactmaker's boons are considered some form of punishments it ticks off your indulgences instead of giving you their benefit and taking some of your piety.
Don't know if there's a better place for small questions like this than making my own thread, but I just thought I'd ask.

But if it dont gives you the benefit it would suck any time. Not subtracting the piety cost but still getting the boon would be very powerful.

Yes, there might have been some confusion what I meant here, but aperently the newest changelog included a fix for this, huzzah!

Yeah, this was a bug that got introduced when the Pactmaker's structure switched up behind the scenes. I've fixed it.

Huh, I guess everyone always just presumed that was the intended behavior.
