I don't mind the language. I just wasn't expecting it. ;)

Nope. Lujo just needs to learn how to be a civil human being on the internet.

Now, back to the topic at hand... I have no idea if there are more over the top strategies lurking in the game. I haven't run any tweaks in ages. Something probably broke with knockback a while ago, it seems like it's doing too much damage in certain situations, but it's almost beyond the point of being fixable now. Too many other balance decisions have been made in a landscape shaped by knockback being the way it is.

I suspect there are still some god-item interactions that are beyond the resource efficiency curve, but there aren't really situations in the game anymore that force hunting for those sorts of things these days.

Any ideas? :)

I'd use the punchbag strategy with TT to beef up for the arena fights. Somethings like this:

Good thing, too - I don't know how you could do this combination without some sort of exploit? As if Elf Warmonger would not be difficult enough, Monk suffers immensely without the use of spells against folks like Tomithy, Jörgmundr and Tormented One...

I think he only gets banned when I also comment in the thread... :?

Well, I was starting to feel like this very evil person for arguing with him already twice to the point where he got banned... I still kinda wish we'd settled for an "agree to disagree" instead... It sucks because he's a really good player and the majority of his contributions are spot on... I only wish he'd be a bit more tactful and considerate in his communications... Not so much for me, I've generally thick skin (and speak up should something hit home), but I guess mods have a shorter fuse when it comes to repeating "offenders"...
