I thought about a fun little challenge, watch-out it's a toughie! So it goes like this: you gotta win a map without any preps, and with the Vicious Token.

Hard rules:
* no preps (except Vicious Token)
* post victory screenshot

Soft rules:
* no "scumming", i.e. do your best to win the map with what it has
* try to go for something nobody has posted yet here (map & build)
* if you want to post multiple wins, you're totally awesome, just please don't use the same strat again and again, but rather go for something new each time (e.g. Goblin Assassin, Orc Wizard, etc., are all really cool, but they each get old quite fast ).

Kicking this one in the gonads while I'm on an occasional dailies only thingy. Northern Desert, Goblin Sorceror, first try... (where I remembered to prep the token, derp...)

Super-early Glenrick, Binlor + the glyph golem subdungeon (for the armour) into Earthmother, Bludtopowa on the map. Nothing particularly interesting on the items front. Could've grabbed Battlemage Ring or Pendant of Mana/Health but didn't. Found the Apothecary really late. Lots of stuff left on the board.

I think it's a reasonably reliable class, the reliable bosses are very reassuring.

I think Warmonger is the only badge I dislike more than Purist. Gunna be a lot of Goblins and Sorcerers here, that's for sure.

Nothing particularly awesome, seeing that I chose the easiest dungeon of all.



I did try a few times, doing Elf Berserker in Western Jungle (thinking that the resists would be good enough) and a few other Normal difficulty maps, but just came up short.

Will try to get a Normal difficulty one to make my attempt more legit.

I realize we're all down on Sorcerers, but due to my avatar I reserve the right to choose Orc Sorcerer anyway.



I gotta think Venture Cave is the easiest dungeon to do this in, with its open layout and single boss. I drew Bleaty, which worried me because no CYDSTEPP. Further causing trouble, I only found BURNDAYRAZ when the level was about 80% explored. However, I got TT and the "eight level 1 monsters" secret subdungeon, so killing Bleaty with potions was no problem.

Embarrassment: I had WONAFYT from the beginning and hadn't even noticed the Balanced Dagger shop near my starting location. That makes Vicious easier when you get it rolling.
