Anyone plays Recursed, from Steam?

This is a great puzzle platformer. Except for Braid, I've never seen this good 2D puzzle platformer.

Haven't played Monster Slayers, but it looks cute! Deck building roguelike.

Update: It's fun! It's more casual Dreamquest with cool graphics and animation.
We made an expansion and it is awesome. Download over at ddmod.weebly.com.

My choice is DD, it eats up all my free time. I can't be more addicted! For some reason straightforward power tactics never work in my case.
The more things are proscribed, the more popular attractive they become.

Fidel just came out, if you enjoy DD you'll enjoy this super smart dungeon puzzler as you choose the best path through monsters, health, switches and those goddamn gnomes. Also, you're a dog. Hit CTRL to bark. Watch spiders poop.

I am super jealous of the elegance Daniel's made happen in this game. I've been playing it for months now, now finally you can too!

I gave Fidel: Dungeon Rescue a try and so far am liking it a lot. There have been some mechanical quirks I wish were explained better, but overall I'm enjoying climbing the learning curve.

Each time that happens it's almost exactly like figuring out one of the core rules of DD. It's great having that happen from the "outside" :) I really enjoy how the little "tutorial" setups teach you things.

Agreed. The little intro levels are a great touch.

Things I still don't understand:

  • What the "electronic health packs" do, other than heal the robot dog and hurt you
  • The list of things affected by barking
  • How bomb damage relates to XP
  • What you get, if anything, from saving grandma in the level where you can use a bomb to prevent the robot dog from snatching her
  • How that gnome works, and in particular, how far and to what squares it can teleport
  • How "triple" XP interacts with monsters, bombs, etc.

Fidel update: I managed to beat the underworld mode, despite still not knowing the answers to most of those questions. Now to try with the ball...
