Saw a diary on this forum and thought it's cool. As with only VGT left, I think I can at least try them.
Comments are well appreciated! I hope to get some intuitions or be more skillful from your advices.


Beginning with berserker win:

I thought, with that much starting resist I can regen fight with the first L8 monster. So, to conserve more blackspaces, I decided to start with Yendor. Also I'm skipping the whole low-level phase, so I went with human. Human is a bit stronger at L10.

So here is my initial completion:

I think the two non-standard preps you picked were Yendor and Black Market... Most people usually go with Dragon Shield and Patches on most builds, because it can reasonably get you to 53%-65% resists without Body Pact, which in turns help with late-game Piety and more stacks of Blood Tithe. I also normally see pre-Dracul Consensus as a bit of an unhappy trade-off, I mean it's doable if you need it, but I find that it's better to keep Consensus for the end to allow you some leeway in the Horatio fight.

My dream scenario was Taurog -> GG (not taking any Protections, just Humility) -> Dracul, then desecrate Earthmother and quaff the Burn Salve, and still have Consensus up your sleeve in case you need that extra last bit of help - for example, by swapping back into GG after all blood pools are gone for a handful of Protections.

Then again, I think it's pretty cool that you picked non-standard preps!

Yendor is hard for non-berserker and monk I guess? I didn't want to waste my magic resistances over maximum. Blood shield will solely carry the maximum resist. However I think the Tower shield did a perfect job, and probably Dragon shield should be better.
Also I don't like patches curse part, poison and mana burn are terrible without immunities. In addition I seldom carry the patches over L9 or L10 because of the inventory space problem.

BTW, prior to the VGT trials I unlocked the last veto slot and filled with VGT specific bans. These items are the topmost quest items lf the shop generation pools: Battlemage Ring, Balanced Dagger, Trisword, Fire Heart, Hero's Helm, Blue Bead, Mage Plate.
I skipped to veto these, which are better chance to spawn than those above: Venom Dagger, Whurrgarbl, Vampiric Blade, Platemail, Martyr Wraps, Agnostic's Collar, Stone Sigil, Gloves of Midas. Then I go with quest items prep.

My only glyph: CYDSTEPP. No BURNDAYRAZ, no HALPMEH, no GETINDARE. Most of the monsters were two-hit before tower 8, which can be defeated within 10 blackspaces (effectively 9 with Blue Bead).
I didn't want to convert to Dracul obviously. So I went with body pact ~tower 4. (PM was tower 1) Buying Stone Sigil and using only 1-2 CYDSTEPPs per monster, even with body pact, the piety was increasing under Taurog. That isn't possible with HALPMEH I guess? I converted to Dracul after tower 9.
Converted everything to get 187 attack plus determined +30% bonus damage plus Martyr Wraps plus one remaining mana potion (just for resistance erode effect, I didn't have any glyph then) plus WHUPAZ plus 3 Blood Tithe and well done.

And Tinker, thank you for the Blue Bead.

It's so fun to see how the tower being easier and easier each time, especially when teddy gives the resists.
I'm not so great at leveling the Vampire with VT, so Yendor. And 7-9 blood cows rocks. Yup.
One of my mistake is taking a compression seal. Transmutation or translocation seal would be much better I guess.
Btw, only a single meat man? Are you serious, RNG?

I'm nominating myself to the VGT olympics, so here's the final blow to H.

Very very very easy. I didn't expect the Platemail + Vampiric Blade. That's a walk in the park to my monk. I had plenty of the blackspaces left, I think I could win even if the H had 20,000 hit points instead of 5,000. Even with the blackspace reveal in the Binlor floor.
Darn why did I take sanguine? That would be an super easy sanguine-free win!

The monk is one of the best classes at VGT I guess. Not much to comment.
