That's great to hear! Tell us if you won a puzzle with extra resources left as their solutions might be optimised.

Progress update: haven't touched puzzles since last time. All but stonewalled out of the last triple quest because I just can't figure out how to do stage 2. Gold challenges are probably doable but ehhh, I keep wanting to do this triple quest instead. Mostly just to fill out the boss codex with the Watcher, my last remaining entry.

I may just stop until next major update, I'm feeling the burnout and more than anything I'm finding myself having fun with just normal dungeon runs where I have agency on what class I use and where. I'll probably try gold quests for a while before packing up, but it's feeling like a better idea to simply wait until I have more normal dungeons to do in between grinding these final few challenges. Not to mention, coming back to these will keep me interested longer when the next update drops, with any luck I'll finish it all while doing the East expansion and then pad out the other future expansions with rainbow attempts.

On that note, does "the center" count as a region you guys intend to add new dungeons for? As cool as regional dungeons are with gimmicks, I'd like to some some new "den of danger" type levels to dink around in. Maybe a Boss Hive successor, or a dungeon that includes all the vanilla monsters for picking as opposed to only the main 12. I would say those are "ideas to think about" except for the part where I'm sure you guys already got something lined up.

Edit: Done most of the gold challenges, gave up officially on the triple quest for a while. I've been instead casually playing the EE dungeons instead of worrying about completion.

I just can't stay away from this game. I think I may just go write a guide/do a video series just to kind of make an outlet for talking about it that isn't just right here.

Thanks for the update. Yes, we plan to release central region as well, it will be after all other regions are done though. Right now I'm working on next region, which is halfway completed.
It would be really cool if you could do a video series for EE content.
On a side note we have private beta for those who don't mind spoil the fun and want to test unfinished stuff, don't know if it's up your alley.

I think I'll decline for now. I will probably be changing my mind before long, but I have the patience to at least wait out the East expansion.

OK, I'm totally stumped. I'm not the best DD player but I've managed to clear VGT a couple times. I cannot for the life of me get anywhere close to beating the Hidden Workshop with the Tinker AND the Warmonger badge, and I haven't even attempted the 6 badges quest yet.

I do understand that every enemy you kill adds to the defenses of the bosses (and it seems to increase every X amount of enemies killed, at least for Goodusa). I suppose it's just a matter of killing high-level enemies quickly enough to reach level 9 or 10 before their defenses are too buffed.

What are the chances of a DDwiki-style guide for the new content in the Extreme Edition? I would love to hear other people's strategies (not just about this level, but how they set up their end game--which items they remove from the item pool, what they usually prep, etc).

Is there any prerequisites to unlocking the Bard class in the Audit Zeppelin? I basically converted one of my old save files to the mod version which is halfway done and I can access the Magician upgrade but I don't see anything new option for the Bard.

As an explorer's guild class, he is out there in a subdungeon somewhere waiting to be found. You'll run into him pretty quickly if you just start playing through the new dungeons/quests.

Dropping a check on the status of the update. Wondering if I should start playing again now or just hold off for a bit and wait for the upcoming patch.

The upcoming update is quite a bit meatier in terms of original and unusual content, IRL circumstances have slowed things down a bit, and we're tightening up a lot of the code for the North effects, so it is still a ways off. It's hard to give an exact time with development, but I'd put it in the 1-3ish months, likely erring on the side of later rather than sooner. Hope that helps!
