This is Vicious Steel. What's going on here? The secret subdungeon is in the top right, but there's an empty room in the center I can't reach?

I ended up opening it and it was an empty room with an attack booster...

Has anyone seen this happen before?

Just a rare one. Ton of different ways Steel can be put together. Once had 8 tiles in the middle; probably the same generation rules but an unlucky roll.

Every time I've seen it, there's been goodies in the middle - likely the mundane ones being stolen away.

As if taking Binlor wasn't already the right play in every situation, eh?

So, can it happen? Obviously yes.
Should it happen? Obviously no.

I thought it had been fixed at some point, are you using the latest version of the game?

There are probably still very unlikely situations where this can happen in that specific dungeon generator because of how it mirrors. It's honestly not a super high priority fix, sorry

At least it wasn't a PISORF or ENDISWAL for maximum irony this time? But that's a huge interior area with a ton of resources.

I kind of wish there was a monster in there for the LEMMISI/WEYTWUT combo like that one intro dungeon's subdungeon. I wonder if the game is smart enough to never "entomb" monsters that way, since the other examples in this thread have no trapped monsters either?

EDIT: I didn't think of it at the time, but I guess what I should have done was toss fireballs at Count Blahblah until he blinked into the inner area so I could WEYTWUT to him?

Wow, that's the worst thing I've ever seen. And you'll never know what was in those shops, either...
