About time I get on this list somehow! Purist VGT, Priest.

Priest is one of the worst classes for VGT in my opinion. If Purist is winnable with him, I'm pretty much convinced it's winnable with all the other normal classes too. I suspect the monster classes are impossible, aside from Vampire.

Purist VGT Warlord

I made it at my fourth serious attempt.
I had a similar setup to shade, Gloves of Midas and Stone Sigil really brings a lot of value.
I abused GG to reduce my weakening and deal with Goo Blobs but screwed up badly by letting the Golden Statue heal...
Converting out of GG after that was painful, but lucky BYCEPS made the end fight much easier.

It was a very lucky seed, I would have been very sad if I didn't win with it.

The trouble with Gorgon is debuffs. Low damage means you'll easily take 10 stacks of each from both the statue, and illusion. You can only buy one type of cure Purist, and that means you'll either be carrying something like 20 weakening, or 10 corrosion and no EM desecration. Not to mention, you can't even join GG to bypass some of these debuffs.

Debuffs mean JJ is necessary to start for Chaos Avatar, and you'd better get the relevant exotics in towers 1 and 2 or forego the EM desecration. With JJ, in order to fuel body pact you also need at least one of BYSSEPS and GETINDARE. On top of that, you have to find the mana to break every statue in the courtyard at some point. After that you still have to face with the damage penalty (and the lack of Human CP bonus), which pretty much means you need almost every single tower enemy to be a Meat Man or Gorgon.

After that, you'll still need the standard Soul Orb, early PM, Midas Gloves, etc. That's more than I'm willing to scum for, and that's saying a lot.

I don't know if this is eligible for the difficult run categories, but I just did a
Gnome Bloodmage in VGT without any permanent resistances.
(I did get some MR at the end because of Binlor but didn't use them)

Wow! Definetely it should be on the category. I remember one forum member saying that no resist VGT should probably be just Vampire with Platemail, and I think I agreed at that time. (EDIT: it was Tinker, viewtopic.php?f=3&t=3460&p=40855&#p40855)Personally I'm really amused that no resist VGT is ever possible.

I could have sworn I saw a no resist Rogue a while back, who didn't even erode H. It was even a video, but I can't find it now...

I think that with a better RNG (earlier GG and Warrior's Pact) and better play I could do it with no resist erode too, maybe. But I'm not gonna try that soon.
I'm gonna try something else first, but I'm not telling to not ruin the surprise if it works.
