It took me less than 30 seconds to download and install. If you're dubious of it, you should know that there are many games on Kongregate.com that use it, and they'd never force users to download malicious software.

Awesome! Does anyone know how much cap this would take to download? Some of us have really expensive internet :( Would I have to dl Unity every time?

Currently the Demo weighs in at under 10mb. So it shouldn't affect your internet costs too much.

There's nothing wrong with having Unity on your computer... it's not malicious or harmful in any way.

Also, I heard that the full game is Unity-based... so at the very least, won't it still require some sort of framework installed to run the game when it comes out?

I'm not sure but from what I understand of unity the full shouldn't require any frameworks.
The closed beta though, which the devs have said is web based, will require the web player.

Well cant wait to play the game this week and I hope some of the team thats at E3 is having a blast and the guys left behind are having a beer and watching E3! heh!
