I wonder if Tri-Sword wasn't at least in part inspired by the irrational, confounding trinity force in League of Legends. The recipe combines two swords and a hammer.

Technically 3 swords and a hammer considering Zeal is two swords crossed.

It can randomly appear in shops, same as any other item you've discovered (hint: take the scout shops prep and the double gold + bank gold preps and go look for it. Of course it'll cost you if you don't find it but it is a quick way to get lost items).
