Orc calculations

Uh... What about +% damage increase items? Like gauntlets? +20%? That's going to buff an orc way more than a human. There are plenty of +% damage increases to be gained throughout, through piety, items, abilities (including the knock-back item), etc.

Orcs have been buffed a little bit - hopefully the change will help them stand out compared to humans. There are some really interesting combos that Orcs do really, really well now...

This is true. Unfortunately, the most common and cost-effective damage boosting item - the fine sword - benefits humans more than orcs. There are some good items that are nice for the high base-damage orc - knockback uses base damage for instance - but most are expensive and rare, and quite frankly unless you're intent on scumming it makes no sense to pick a race or class on the presumption that certain items or alters will be available,

Anyways, good to hear orcs are getting buffed. I still think they're too similar to humans, but so long as they have their own niche that's fine.
