Are goats evil or just innocent bystanders slaughtered by the dungeon crawlers?

On one side I can see the goat as an innosent animals that just happen to give nice experience... but on the other hand the goat boss seams to have killed quite many heros.

(I know this is a cheap question but I actually would like to know your oppinion beacause I am drawing a pictrue of the goat and need to know if I should make him furious or scared. Or maybe both...)

Well in my opinion, Any enemy that gives exp is an enemy that is meant to be killed, so it's clearly evil!

(I think scared would be better for a picture, because it embraces the idea of an adventurer going 'THAT THING HAS EXP, GET IT!)

Well, every single enemy in this game never outright attacks, they just hit back when you hit them. Even after you've beaten the crap out of one they still don't chase you down, plan revenge or anything. They just wait there serenely, still simply defending themselves.
The only true evil here are the heroes, slaughtering thousands, perhaps millions of people that were just standing there.

I would describe goats as 'stoic.' These goats won't charge at you but won't back down an inch, either. Morality need not apply.

Personally, I think of Goats as exploited.

Awesome! All they can see is a big fat pile of experience points in front of them! That's a great depiction of how the game actually feels when you start mopping up the low levels *evil grin*
Nice touch with the elf doing the horns to cast the fireball.
