Bleaty is still a real problem in his current state.

As it stands, if im unlucky enough to end up getting bleaty as a dungeon boss and Im not using a warlord OR have found CYDSTEPP, I instantly quit.

Bleaty is without a doubt, the most overpowered of the Standard bosses.
Like Gharbad ,in the Freeware, Bleaty has an insanely high ATK, wich ends up nullifying one of the most important ressources of any character, health. You can not survive a hit from Mr. Bossgoat unless you stack up on health AND Phis resistance.
This was ok with Gharbad, as his overall low HP allowed you the weaken him through (weakened) spells, and eventually smack him upside the head with GETINDARE (he was still very much a boss that required luck when it came to glyphs found in the dungeon tough).

Bleaty on the other hand has a similar ATK, a load of HP, magic resistance AND Phisical Resistance. He has basicaly NO weakness.
This makes him, without a doubt one of the hardest bosses in the game. And no, Frank is in no way harder than bleaty.
(The Warlord specific "EASY" dungeon, was the only one I had to do twice, as the first time, I ran out of ressources while fighting Bleaty.)

Honestly, I think you guys should lower his HP a tad, get rid of his Physical Resistance AND give him slow strike. (Because being forced to use GETINDARE, WEYTWUT or CYDSTEPP to even be able to hit him once in melee without dying is kinda BS.)

Just my two cents, keep up the good work guys! =D

What's so bad about not being able to defeat the boss every single time?

I'm inclined to agree. There should be at least one reasonable way to defeat Bleaty that doesn't involve CYDSTEPP.

Bleaty is definitely a hard, perhaps even vicious, boss as he is now; he is all strengths and no weaknesses. Either tone down his resistances or reduce his HP. I also like the idea of giving him slow strike. Gharbad was only really a pushover if you had CYDSTEPP, so perhaps Bleaty's challenge could come not from sky high defenses but instead from the ability to pierce death protection (i.e. if his attack would kill you, it will kill you whether CYDSTEPP is active or not)?

Giving Bleaty a slow attack is a great idea.

Any boss that lacks mana burn and deals enough damage to 1HKO a level 10 character is always going to be very very weak to CYDSTEPP. You can scale the boss all you like, he's either going to be too strong if the character doesn't have CYDSTEPP, or too weak if he does.

One possibility is to give Bleaty mana burn, so repeated CYDSTEPP's are impossible, then lower the rest of his stats to compensate for this new ability. Another possibility, since 1HKO bosses are actually quite prevelent in hard and vicious dungeons, is to add more ways for characters to survive against these kinds of opponents than just CYDSTEPP. Right now CYDSTEPP is blatantly overpowered because it lets you take on creatures that would be totally impossible otherwise, but if there were several comparable abilities that let you survive high-damage enemies that would change matters considerably.

He's also quite beatable with Paladin or Monk because of their physical resist, as long as you find out early and can stack your resist items or get enlightenment. I've also beaten him with fireballs before using mysteria to bring down his resist. There are some classes that simply can't beat him though, but then again that's true for many bosses.

The main problem is the fact that he spawns in 'normal' dungeons.
